Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on April 14, 2024We stayed here Nov 8-10 2019. Very quiet campground. Level sites with 30a and water. Some sites are shaded and some are not. Campground is right on Granger Lake. Saw several deer on the drive in. Will definitely be going back.

Just passing through. Well kept. Not crowded. Doesn’t look like there’s a lot to do, but it’s a comfy place to stay. There’s only a few full hook up sites FYI.

Small, secluded, and quiet park, but out of the way. We stayed first week of January 2021. Sites are very close together and a bit hard to maneuver into when it's busy, but have a nice covered picnic area with picnic table and bar-like counter, fire ring, and BBQ. Men's bathrooms were not cleaned the entire time we were there and it was nasty! The Women's bathroom was cleaned once. The shower was hot, but has an electronic button that comes on for about a minute and stays off for 3-5 minutes no matter how much you press, wave, or beg. Was already planning my soapy retreat back to the RV when with one last try it came back on-needs serious adjustment. Would not visit again.

This park is pretty far out from Austin (45-60 mins) but quiet if that’s what you’re looking for. Only 4 of the spots are full hook ups (20,22,25,27). Lots of trash around the camp/woods area. We did not use the bathrooms as we had full hook ups, but the outsides didn’t look too promising. Dump station is easy access on the way in/out of the park. Had some neighbors who were pretty loud (working on cars at their site the whole week??) which seemed to be allowed. All in all, if you need an overnight stay that’s pretty out of the way it would be ok, otherwise I’d look for other places.

Small campground. Fire pit at our site was overflowing with ash. Saw lots of folks heading off into the woods to fish. Walked by two dozen small dead fish by one (empty) campsite. Gate was unattended, go directly to your reserved site. Didn't use bathrooms or dump station.

Looking for an over night stop on the way to New Mexico. Site 22 full hook up with 30 amp electric and a huge tree to provide shade from that hot Texas sun. $26 per night. Less if you have a qualifying discount card. Three bars on Verizon.
Stayed at site 3 which is on the East side closest to the boat ramp. We were on the side opposite the water which wasn’t bad. Even the sites closer to the water were still far enough away that you didn’t know there was water. There is lots of fire wood around here if you look for it. The shore line is full of wood too. Very quiet place.

We like this campground. Willis Creek is smaller than the other two campgrounds on this lake, and is very well kept. The staff has been really friendly. The fishing is good and the hiking is great! We will be back!
