We just used the dump station. It was free and easily accessible. It's the steepest hill I've ever seen a dump station on and the approach to the basin is a little awkward to get close. The wash hose and cap were in good condition and working order.
A little further down the hill was the fresh water station. It's on the same hillside but wasn't in as good of working order. The valve leaked and the hose was in very warn condition. Still 4 stars overall for a free place to leave some crap.
Dump station and fresh water fill up 6.5 miles off hwy 24. Free and open 24 hours.
I’m posting this review mostly to confirm for others that this dump station and potable water station still exist as of august 2023. I’ve had the bad luck of visiting other dump/water stations listed here that no longer exist, but this one is still here. No complaints, worked as expected and free. The dump is located on a path behind the visitor center building, and fresh water is a little further down the path.
