Nestled at the foot of the Grand Sable Dunes, the Grand Sable Visitor Center is located near the eastern gateway to the park and along the North Country National Scenic Trail. The lovely, wooded Sable Creek Trail also begins here. The building is open summer only (as staffing allows) from 9 am to 5 pm through the end of September. Closed the rest of the year. Flush indoor restrooms available when open. A vault toilet located across the parking lot is open year-round.
