Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on June 30, 2023After going into a state park up the road where they wanted $20 + $8 for each vehicle (motorhome + toad) daily, would have been $36 for less room, I found this little gem...
The county keeps this place immaculate. 19 sites, level cement pad with electricity, fresh water fill station with separate dump station. Lots of shade trees, and activities in the park, exercise equipment stations on the walking loop, showers, nature trails.
The odd thing, locks up at 830pm gate reopens at 7am. Also states no alcohol but they don't search your vehicle or even ask about it.
I was very lucky to find this wonderful place and I know I'll be back in the future. It's about 2 miles north of I-80, no road noise. if you need tv there are only 6 over the air and 4 are pbs, no major stations.
AT&T cell service was good, 4glte 4 bars on the drivers side of the MH but lost the lte if positioned on the passenger side... just a bit weird. I don't have Verizon but saw towers in the area.

Well maintained park with playgrounds, picnic shelters and both electric and non-electric (tent) sites. All electric sites had a level cement pad but no water or sewer at sites. The electric sites ($20) were quite popular but I didn't see anyone using the non-electric sites ($15) all of which we're grassy and open surrounded by trees.

Beautiful park, immaculately maintained. Large cement level pad and grassy area with fire pit and picnic table. Perfect for walking. Absolutely love it here. Back in spot fit our 39 foot class a motorhome and jeep just fine. Within a few miles of Walmart supercenter. Mostly locals and busy on weekends but thinned out considerably during the week.

Nice park like others have said. Helpful campground host. Would be 5 stars if there was water at each site. Great areas to walk a dog or ride a bike. Cash or check only for payment.

It isn’t a large camping area and it is surrounded by plenty of trees. Nice, super-helpful hosts in Pad# 3. You just fill in an envelope and deposit your cash or check at the kiosk in the middle of the campground. There is just one shower available and it takes quarters to operate. Saw a mama turkey and her 7 half-grown chicks!

Beautiful well maintained county park with hands down the best camp host we have experienced. She met us at our site with 2 bottles of cold water. When we asked directions to a place to buy ice, they insisted on driving us. We were going to stay just one night but changed our plans and stayed two. Sites are grassy and there are lots of shady sites. Water and sewer are available but not at site. Lots of walking and biking trails and children’s play equipment.

One of the nicest camp host we have ever encountered. Campground is way above the quality of most campgrounds. The grounds are gorgeous. Friendly campers, beautiful grounds and only $20. Only negative is electric only, and morning road noise. You can’t see the road but you can hear it if light sleeper.
