Squire Resort at the Grand Canyon BW Signature Collection

Nice place to stay near the GC. One of the best restaurants in Tusayan and nice bar on the first floor. 2 miles from the entrance to South GC rim. Highly recommended.

Not impressed,

We stayed at a Best Western Plus the night before and we had a nice, big room, free breakfast and at a decent price. This hotel is advertised as a Best Western Premier and boasts about all the amenities but not the rooms and for good reason. Ours was small and in a building that was located pretty far from the main building where all the amenities I apparently paid for were. Breakfast was not included and the cost was $14.99 per person. We didn’t even go to it. The parking was aweful. We had to park at the opposite end of the building from where our room and the elevator were. The price was almost twice as the one the night before. We were disappointed to say the least. Would not stay there again.

Just 7 miles from the entrance to the Grand Canyon, this is a great budget hotel to use as a homebase. There's free wifi, minigridges and microwaves, so you don't have to eat out all the time. TIP: If you're traveling with kids or a group, ask to upgrade to a suite, which is much bigger and has a larger kitchen area. There's also an outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as a restaurant, two bars and a freaking bowling alley!

I totally agree with cpomama, was very disappointed with distance to main building from our room and the cost of so so meals.
