The Miners Museum building was originally a mercantile store; it is the oldest standing building on Main Street. The museum documents and preserves the history of one of the oldest mining towns in southwest Missouri. This wonderful museum full of old pictures, mining tools and helmets, rocks, minerals, clothing, old newspapers, military items, and tons of other stuff. Two large murals on the outside wall depict mining activities in the Granby area– painted by Dan McWilliams.
