Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on December 22, 2022There are no marked spots here, but you're allowed to pull off and camp in front of the picnic area. I think the bathrooms were closed when we were there, but we didn't check. The sign says there is a 10-day stay limit. It was pretty windy when we were there, but sunsets and sunrises were very pretty over the river. Super close to Granbury, which is a very cute, friendly town. If you need to do laundry, we recommend Ann's. She was very nice, and the prices are reasonable. I don't think people camp here often at this time of year because we got some funny looks, but the park management came by often, so we were fine.

Honey Huts were next to restrooms that we believe were locked but we did not check. We parked at the last open area before leaving the parking area. There is a football field about 100 yards away where a quiet football game with young children occurred while we were there but was very peaceful. Very little traffic, two or three fishing groups of youngsters and adults and a peace officer about twice a day. No water or electricity. There was only one spot that I felt was level enough to park the coach on. All parking was done beside the road and had a pretty good slope to it. Would stay again.

We stayed here in January. Very quiet, but only one big rig site. several sites for smaller, one slide rigs. Has a nice fishing pier that was just being renovated when we were there. The City square of Granbury is super cute.

It looked like a nice park. They’re working on the entrance road. No mention on the park website that it was closed.

Pretty little park. Part of Brazos River Authority. One of three on Granbury Lake. Free overnight camping. Max 10 days. Beautiful lake view. Dry camping, no hookups but not a problem for us as we are self contained.

This is a awesome little park , Very clean . Families stopping in to walk their pups or eat lunch under cover picnic tables . A lot of Tables with big beautiful trees however you can not camp under those tress in a Rv or Van . You can tent camp only . Rv and Suvs have to be on the road near their site . Big large parking lot will accommodate big rigs for sure . Restrooms are clean with parking right in front of them .
Has a huge fishing doc . boat ramp , grills each picnic table , walking path by water . This park sits right on the Brazos river .
And did I mention the fishing is great :)

We camped here in our camper van. It is a nice park with a fishing dock and boat ramp. Room for perhaps 10 RVs. Nice location along the river. Not far from the highway but very minimal highway noise. Only one other rig was here our night. Some local traffic occasionally came through. No problems.

Pulled in for the night in a 22ft rv trailer. Found a great spot and was satisfied with cleanliness and beauty of park. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night due to reoccurring suspicious activity that left us feeling very unsafe.

Not really any swim access, if you have dogs constantly check their paws for the sharp spike balls. Waterline is very trashy. But is free boondocking spot. Jailhouse bathrooms with metal toilets
