We were brought to our site by an employee in a gold cart. We were next to the industrial park where they blasted profane rap music until 9:00 pm or so. I went and spoke with the front desk about it and they were very kind and said they would contact the owner of the neighboring job site but could not move me since they were full. I signed all of the papers and left with my leaflet of rules that I would soon read outside of our camper while my 8 month old son napped inside.
We were warned by the neighboring trailer to not walk your dog up on the hill behind the park. There had been at least three or four dogs that had died from rattlesnake bites. Long term guests have pleaded with the management to address this and warn others but they have not.
On our second day I receive a call from the office saying that I forgot to sign the forms for our site. I said they must be mistaken since I had gone in and signed everything. She then sees the mistake, apologizes saying this is what happens when she gets a day off. I laugh it off with her and go on my with my family to have dinner with my brother in law and his family whom we hadn’t seen in 4 years. 45 minutes later while we are at dinner I get called again. I am told that our camper is in the wrong spot and that we have to come move it immediately or it will be towed. I told her I did not understand since we were literally driven to her site by the site attendant. We stood on it as he took our information and my husband backed into it. He adamantly offered no assistance for backing up siting insurance reasons. I also told her that we have dash cam footage of this as well. For any fellow campers, moving a travel trailer for one night on a hill of a site at night with babies is not an easy thing. I told her we would be leaving in the morning and can there not be something that can be done that wouldn’t include us moving the camper. She got off the phone to speak with the owner, got back on and immediately said our camper would be towed if we don’t come immediately.
We dropped everything and ran to get in the car and return to the camper. I have an asthmatic infant who had medication in the camper and all I could think of was them tampering with something and towing our camper and my baby not having access to his medication.
After the way my husband and I were so rudely spoken to by the staff, I called the police and requested that we had a police presence when we arrived. There was no telling what this woman would do. My husband started packing up the camper and kids and I was okay leaving and not saying anything until I saw that my leaflet with the rules, with my credit card receipt and my contract through them was missing from the chair I had sat in while the baby napped. Now livid I ask the police office to escort me to the office.
The manager apparently believed that after being told there were no other spaces available to move away from the loud music I had my husband move our trailer two spaces over on the same hill, facing the same industrial park. I told her my papers were missing and she said they must have blown away. We had known from the neighbors that the manager and the boss had been coming to our site but we were not there all day. On one of those trips she took the papers. She denied this in front of the police officer and I asked her again and she said she would go inside to show us what she found on the site. She came back out with my papers but had ripped off the costumer copy of the credit card receipt.
DO NOT STAY HERE! These people ran a small family with babies out in the night with not a care in the world. Thank the lord we had a place we could go and lord help those that don’t.
Highly recommend this RV park!
This park has it all. When you stay here you are close to all the following. Denver and all that Denver is. Restaurants of all types, Baseball, Football, Hockey, Drag Racing, Dirt Bike riding, Casinos, Museums of all types, the Denver Zoo, Theater & Fine Arts, Hiking, Biking, Water & Amusement Parks, and the list goes on and on. Mother Cabrini Shrine is very close as is Heritage Square Amusement Park. If you like to bike the trails are endless. Red Rocks amphitheater is about 3 minutes away. The park is in a good setting with nice clean sites which are concrete and asphalt. Every site has a grass area with room for tables and chairs etc. Nice pool, hot tub and laundry/bathrooms/showers. This park is clean and well kept with a friendly and knowledge staff. I have stayed all this park many times and will again. PS- a great place to sit and look through a telescope/star gaze.

$55 is the daily rate for a pull-thru with Good Sam. A bit expensive, but it is a nice park in Golden. Most of the pull-thrus have the buddy set-up where you share a yard with your neighbor. Most have a tree in the yard.
There is a pool, hot tub, clean bathrooms, and a nice laundry room. There are two small dog walking areas, but no fenced park.
The outlet mall and shopping plaza is down the road. Downtown Golden is about 10-15 minutes away.
ATT and Verizon both worked fine for online work.

Sites not level
Lots of rules - they make you sign extra forms about their dog rules that they don't enforce, one quick walk around and you'll see lot of dogs chained up outside with no owner out with them. and there's dog barking all day around the park.
No dog park
$5 per visitor and $5 per car for visitors who aren't staying the night, they just came for dinner
Pricy Laundry - $2.50 to Wash, $2 to dry and my clothes were still damp
Tight roads hard to back into spot
We were on the outside edge and there's an industrial area next door who work from 6am to 9pm very loudly
Limited restrooms, only located at the office and not many toilets. the restrooms also close from 3:30pm-5:30pm everyday for cleaning.
No cable
Terrible wifi
I wish Denver had more options for RV parks than places like this couldn't be so awful.
Positive - it's a clean park and not far from downtown Golden

Unfriendly staff, so many rules, tight RV sites, lots of noise, lots of permanent residents. No thanks! Never again!

This isn't the kind of RV park we'd normally stay at, but we ended up here due to a problem with our motorhome that required us to change plans at the last minute. Every other place we called was sold out, but Dakota Ridge had spots available for a few days (we had to move sites once) and the staff was friendly and helpful at getting us a reservation. The park is conveniently located for visiting Denver and Golden, we had strong AT&T and Verizon signal, and the free WiFi worked reasonably well, though not exactly fast. Our sites were decently level, though we saw many other rigs with wheels up in the air or many leveling blocks under the tires. The pull-through sites are arranged in alternating directions so on your driver's side you are right next to your neighbor and share utilities between you, and you share your camping area with your other neighbor's camping area. We do not like this arrangement any time we come across it. There's a trail up a steep hill behind the park that leads to an open field with ATV trails criss-crossing it, where we walked our dog. The park has a lot of dog rules and in addition to signing them, we were told when checking in that our dog not be tied outside with us, nor could fencing be put up, and dogs aren't even allowed to be walked on guests RV sites, only the small (non-fenced) designated dog area. By the time we were leaving however, we'd noticed that many of the other residents there had dog fences, dogs tied outside with no one outside, etc. There's a fair bit of noise from the main road and nearby businesses. The park will not accept mail or packages for you. Interior roads are a little tight but manageable. While we are glad we found someplace to land for our repairs, and the staff was friendly and helpful, this isn't a park we're likely to come back to, especially at $63/night (Good Sam + tax).

My wife and I stayed four nights here to visit two of our sons who live in the area over the 4th of July while on a trip from Florida to Alaska. We have a travel trailer, 31' overall and while it fit into our back in site, our F150 would not fit and I had to park it crosswise. We paid $54 a night for three nights (holiday rate) and $49 for one night. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but the park is located in town and is one of the very few campgrounds so centrally located. The sites have concrete pads and grassy patio areas. The sites are pretty close together. Our site pad was almost perfectly level. It is a very clean and well maintained campground and even though packed full while we were there it was very quiet. Yes, there is some road noise from nearby highways, but the noise was not that bad. My wife and Granddaughter used the pool and said the area and buildings were very clean and nice. She always checks us in when we arrive at a campground and said the check in staff was very businesslike and made sure we were aware of the rules. I found the staff running around the park on golf carts to be friendly. The campground's wifi is usable for email, etc., but we streamed Netflix using our AT&T Mobley hotspot. The main thing I did not much care for is it seems the power pedestals and water spigots are about half way between the sites. As I type this review sitting in a camp chair right beside our trailer the site next to us power pedestal and water spigot is within five feet. Fortunately, their sewer, while visible, is next to their trailer.

We're full-timers in a 38' class A. We stayed two nights here in two different spots (last minute and they didn't have a spot for two consecutive nights). It's nice they provide you with an escort to get to and into your spot because the sites are very close and everyone in the middle sections are crammed in like sardines. The place is quiet and clean. Nice front desk staff. Big and clean laundry room. Nice view of the hills in Golden. Disappointed the pool and hot tub were already closed down for the season. We'd stay here again.
