Location: Only 3 miles from the town and the beach. GORGEOUS property, well maintained spots and beautiful plants everywhere. Close to the Rogue river and there is also a small creek that runs along the east side of the park, with very short trails that you can walk on.
Cleanliness: Bathrooms were always clean, trash and sites are all maintained.
Site Quality: Not many 50 amp spots and we did not have sewer hookup. Spots are shaded and the nature surrounding is incredible.
Noise: Birds, wind, and nothing else! Maybe some loud neighbors occasionally.
Hal is a very kind older gentleman that owns the park. Neva and Ken help run the place. Hal has an incredible green thumb and tells some pretty cheesy jokes. We loved spending time in the campground and enjoyed the surroundings. Wifi worked well for us but we were next door to the office, not sure how it is in the rest of the park. The wood they use for fires smells fabulous, $8 and $10 boxes available. They also have a monthly rate $660 I think.

Beautiful campground with redwood trees surrounding you and a beautiful river that runs right along side of the campground. Your close enough to town to go and eat dinner or go grocery shopping but the campground still feels very secluded like you’re in the woods. This will be a go to spot for years to come! Make sure you take the short drive to Lake Loch Lomond.

We were looking to escape the heat inland and this was good little hideaway. It’s far enough off the coast to escape the fog and low 70’s during the day. Sites are clean, small but with a little privacy, fairly level. No showers or bathrooms open due to COVID.
Horse shoe game was fun but the pits are falling apart and need to be fixed up. Lots to do in the area!
The owner Hal is a terrific guy and took good care of us.

This place is gorgeous and lovely. If you are looking for cable and full hookup, this is not your place. But if you are looking for gorgeous HUGE quiet sites, we highly recommend this spot. We had water and electric under beautiful old trees, next to a stream. So idyllic! Hal the owner is lovely too. It is a hidden secret for sure. No noise, couldn’t even see the neighbors site. Just great!

Just as everybody has said—wonderfully quiet and large sites. They want you to spread out and you can! Privacy bushes in between. This isn’t the place for families with children wanting entertainment, but it is perfect for those who love peace and quiet. Our site, with water and electricity and wifi provided by the owner, was tucked into the woods. A small path led to the bubbling creek behind, which was crystal clear and even had a few fish in it one day. Lots of room to walk the dog, and everybody was really respectful. The main “activity” area was a meadow in the middle where I would go with my chair to get some sun. One day, it had some people having a joyful time playing horseshoes (who knew it could apparently be so much fun and exciting!). I would come back and stay for even longer. We didn’t even get to explore the area much as two of us came down very sick. But when they got better, we went to Gold Beach which was filled with amazing rocks and driftwood. The town itself is charming and we happened to hit a small market. Fresh-baked goods were being sold, and lovely stones. We never did make it to the old growth forest—we will do that next time, for we will be back!
We were able to dump on the way out. The showers and bathrooms were closed, and I didn’t like the fact that they charged $7 extra for each extra person (we only had one, but still, it seems like a lot). But the area, the peace, the quiet, the flowers planted everywhere and the trees more than made up for it. We will be back!

Thia place is a complete dump. One of the worst sites we have seen. It was so bad we left after paying because we did not feel safe.
Lots of trees, branches, bushes made it difficult to drive in here w/our 12’ tall 5th wheel & full-size truck. You’d be fine w/a tent or small rv.
