Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on May 08, 2021This was a last minute stay on our way to Yellowstone & I feel lucky we were able to get a spot. Lois was extremely friendly on the phone & as there was construction, she gave us turn by turn directions on where to get off the highway & to their place. Both she & Michael helped direct us into our spot and were available for any questions. We also got turn by turn directions on how to get out & headed in the correct direction.
My business is customer service & if I could hire these two, I would do it in a heartbeat. Friendly, knowledgeable & what I would consider the perfect hosts!
Campsites are standard with good access to the necessities. Not much highway noise, though the winds were terrible when we stayed.
Overall, a great experience & wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our way back!

I called to make reservations in advance for a pull-through site. After the owner found out I had a 25 ft travel trailer he said he wouldn't guarantee a site for a "dinky little trailer". When I pointed out I pay the same amount as everyone else he told me he has big rigs come through here and would not guarantee me a pull-through site. I'm still in shock.

We pulled in late, after 7 PM late in Dec. Not their prime time in this part of ID. Lady on the phone said to come on in and they will be here. Both she and her husband could not have been more welcoming or helpful. They said they had bought this place about 4 years ago. Restrooms are clean, WIFI was good, cable, long pull thru, full hookups and easy on off I 84 with no road noise. $30 is their normal rate; we received $2.50 off with AAA. We’ll definitely be back here. These folks truly made us feel as though they appreciated our business, so if you make it to South Central Idaho and need a good night sleep, give these guys a try, it’s really worth the stop!!!!

We called ahead to ask if they would have room for two travel trailers around 8:30pm and they were very friendly and accommodating. We were just passing through on our way to Zion. They had the lights on for us when we got there. Clean restrooms. Quiet. We appreciated their accommodating us so much we stayed there on the way back from Zion too!

Park is a work in progress. Very nice people running it. Spaces gravel. Full hookup sites close together but electric sites more spacious. They have some pull- throughs. Owners help with parking. Great last minute road weary spot. Grass and shade.

$30 a night but day 3 is free so really $20! Nice small park - bathrooms and showers very clean. The owners were onsite and friendly - showed us where they lived in case we needed anything. They are gradually making this into a beautiful park. It is on a busy road and like everywhere you can hear a train ( why is that? )
But it’s not too close. The sites are level an they have severL pull thru’s. We loved walking in the evening meeting the folks camping there. We would stay here again. Right by 3 island crossing state park - with the best info center I have ever seen at a park. ( Oregon trail and local Indians)
A must see!

This campground is not able to take guests during the COVID-19 lockdown. We absolutely understand that restriction. However, we live in our RV so we consider the stay at home order to mean for us to stay in our home (motorhome). We called to see if Trail Break was accepting reservations and the person answering was extremely condescending, rude and proceeded to lecture us about traveling at all during the “stay at home” order. He made assumptions about us and with a total lack of compassion didn’t consider that we might have a critically necessary reason for traveling in our home during this incredibly difficult and sad time.
I believe that crass attitude of intolerance and disrespect shows the true nature of an individual, and it may be reflected throughout the organization.
