If you're going to Gettysburg to tour all of the haunted places you have to stay at the Gettysburg Hotel, because not only is it a great hotel it's also rumored to be haunted. Before you head out be sure to check to see if there is a historical recreation going on, because if there is (and there usually is) the books can be booked weeks in advance.

We got to experience the Gettysburg Hotel for a friend's wedding, and it was amazing! Such a beautiful and fun place. There is a great little pub inside the hotel if you don't feel like leaving, and the food is delicious. It's always located in the perfect part of town, just a few seconds walk from several shops and restaurants.
