Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 20, 2015This is a great campground with nice facilities and great recreation opportunities. We snagged the last available site on a Thursday afternoon in July. There was mass clearing on Sunday, so that may be the best day to look for a site. The pit toilet and trash cans were clean, the water was clean and plentiful, the picnic table was large and the fire ring was well maintained. Site 15 had enough sun to allow our solar panels to keep us charged in the high 90% range the entire time. The noise rating is due to the camp host running an old (loud) generator quite a bit. Plus our site was relatively close to the day use parking, so there was noise. But it was very quiet at night. Note that cell phone service is very site dependent.

The campground is beautiful. My big disappointment was the access road through the sites is too small for my trailer.
I took a reconnaissance trip to Kangaroo Lake one afternoon in August 2017 hoping to find everything I'd wished for. The campground is gorgeous and the lake access, fishing potential and general appeal are high.
But the roadway through the campsites is too narrow and curvy for my 27 foot trailer. This is despite the summary specs for the campground as allowing "30ft max" rigs. Perhaps that means the combined length of the pull vehicle and trailer. I carefully drove through the campground a second time trying to gauge if I could make it work, but I don't think my truck and trailer could fit.
