If you don't like rivers, white water rafting, fishing, sitting in a hot spring or spectacular scenery, don't come here.
This National Forrest campground was a great spot for us. There are only about 10 sites and two group sites here so make a reservation. Our site was huge, at least 100' long with firering, table and level pavement. The water spigot was about 100' away so it was easy to fill our tank once we arrived. No power or sewer of course but there were clean pit toilets. Cell coverage (Verizon) was barely there, enough 3g to text and sometimes call but forget about any data. It is just off the road so you do get some road noise during the day but not too bad.
The highlight here is the natural hot spring. There is a shallow hot pool fed by the spring and it is nicely hot. lots of people during the day but go down early morning or after dark and you will have it to yourself.

For a beautiful river and a hot spring, plus a grill with picnic tables fire pit and fresh drinking water, 16 bucks is a good deal!
Right off the highway so a little noisey but hardly any cars after nightfall until morning. Plenty of trees for shade since it is getting up to 100 degrees today. Lots of cool people around too. T-Mobile service is solid at the Chevron three miles west of the background and very spotty at the actual campground. Enough to send a text out for sure.

Large campsites - some pull-throughs. Water is available but no dump site. Each site has a nice fire pit with rotating grate and a picnic table. Have cash to pay.
