Sites are level and very wide. Plenty of full hookup (including cable TV) pull-thru sites for big rigs. Long enough to leave your towed attached. Many smaller back-in sites for smaller RVs. WIFI is available (tengonet). The campground has a small camp store. There is a Colorado Welcome Center right up the street for local and state information.

Rate reflects the weekly rate. I did meet a permanent resident in the park, but it seems most people pull in for 1-2 nights only. The lady that checked us in was surprised to learn we'd be there for a week. The sites are very long and there is no shade, but the park is nicely kept up. The owner told us the wash the small dog park down every morning with bleach water. I would usually take the dogs there to do their business and then go across the street to walk them in the state park along the Colorado River (my first choice to stay). If you walk across the street and turn left the state park sign, a few feet down the sidewalk is the start of the trail that leads into the park avoiding the roads.
There is a big laundry room, multiple bathrooms, a pool, and a hot tub. ATT and Verizon worked well (forgot to write down the bars).
You can walk to a few fast food and restaurants from the campground. They give you coupons to some when you check-in. Be warned the cinnamon rolls and biscuits at Starvin' Arvins are massive. Fruita has a cute downtown about 5 minutes away. Grand Junction is down the road with chain stores like Target and Petco. Hey, we hadn't seen any of these in a long time adn needed to run errands. Grand Junction also has a decent regional airport (the reason we were there) and a Cummins shop. The entrance to Colorado National Monument is down the street and worth making the drive through the park.

We stayed here for 1 night, and was lucky to get the last spot. It only had 20 amp power and no sewage connection but we were happy to have a spot.
Nice campground. Very clean washrooms and showers.
There is an odd musty smell in the area but nothing you can’t get use to. All around a nice quiet stay.

Monument RV Resort is a good option if the Colorado River State Park across the street is full. We were here for the Fruita Fat Tire Mountain Bike Festival and wanted to be close to downtown. You can walk/bike from the state park across the street into town or take a paved trail all the way into Grand Junction. Location is walking distance to restaurants and some shopping.
The park is clean and well-maintained. There are multiple shower/restroom and laundry facilities. The pool was not open during our stay and the hottub rules are ridiculous. You must arrange for an appointment to use it – ok, no problem – but you must be out of the tub by 6:30pm! No exceptions. Really?! Apparently after 6:30pm it is for staff use only. I was not happy with that and certainly had no interest in sitting in the hottub in middle of a sunny, hot day.
Sites are very close together and alternate directions so you share your gravel sitting area with your neighbor. Each site has a picnic table, with one grill shared between two spaces. There are shade trees around the perimeter of the park, but nothing between spaces to offer shade or privacy. Many of the spaces are rented to long-term/seasonal residents. Staff were very friendly, but, as noted, I was put off by the seemingly arbitrary rules. Lots of “DO NOT…” signs posted everywhere.
One perk – for $10 you can wash your RV in your space. That said, the spaces were so close I ended up washing our neighbors windows since there was no way to avoid overspray and I didn’t want to leave them water spotted. 😊 The $40 rate includes the GS discount.
We had 3 bars of Verizon 4G unboosted. The park’s wifi wasn’t great – it worked ok sometimes (very slow, but functional), other times we couldn’t even get logged in. I’d give it a “C”.

We stayed at Monument for one month, as we have family and friends in the area. The park is very convenient from I-70 in Fruita. The park is medium-sized, all gravel sites. The roads are paved, and there is a smallish dog park. The Park is well maintained, and staff is helpful.
This Park has many seasonal or full-time residents, but they keep their sites tidy. There is a small pool (closed for the season) and an outdoor hot tub (open year-round).
Monument is very close to the Colorado National Monument, local grocery, and several restaurants. We will stay there again on our next trip.

Very clean, well organized park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access from the Interstate and the internal roads were well laid out for large rigs. Pull thru sites were very long. Location is also excellent; close to restaurants, coffee shops, and a nice museum across the street.
There are dozens of wineries nearby (we especially liked Two River's Winery, the wines were very good and the tastings were free). The entrance to Colorado National Monument is within a mile of the park. The Colorado River runs right thru this area and there are multiple places to access the river for kayaking and other water sports.
If you like BBQ, drop by Rib City (its only a 1/2 mile away).

The surrounding area is beautiful, the location is great next to restaurants and across the street from the river. I love that they have a small store so I don't have to leave the property for things I forgot and I love their swimming pool and playground for the kids. The employees were all nice and the owners were on the property working so you know they care about their business.

We really enjoyed this park! The location in Fruita is very convenient to SO many things. The park is kept very clean and quiet. The bathrooms and laundry rooms are well cared for and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They even have a small exercise room you can use. Our one and only wish would be that the sites were bigger, but that's pretty much always the case at any RV park. We would still happily stay here again and enjoyed our time.
