Confirmed by 7 users | Last reported on April 30, 2021It’s nothing special, but it’s quiet and the host is very kind.
Just a dirt pad with full hook ups.
And best of all, for us at least, you actually have decent service. My husband works remotely so we have to make sure there’s signal. If we are in the area again, we’d happily stay here. If you’re not worried about service, I’d recommend checking out Kaibab Paiute Tribal Campground. You won’t have service, but you’ll have fantastic views.

Great place to stay! They are doing some work so no facilities yet but they are getting there. They have the most important thing down already - friendliness! Both Eric and Alicia were very nice. They helped us with two mail issues and gave us great tips on what to see in the area. They genuinely wanted us to have a good experience and we did. We stayed 2 weeks and had plenty to do and see. The park is quiet and the spaces are huge! Our rig is on the smaller side but they can fit the big boys easily! All the spaces are pull-thru which is nice as well. Full hookups and the rates are cheap. We paid $25/night but if you stay a week the rate is $125. Cannot beat that! The park is close to Kanab, UT (about 10-15 mins) and it has everything you need, gas, groceries, restaurants, etc. The park is MUCH cheaper and less crowded than the parks in Kanab. Definitely worth going here for quiet and more space. They are doing great things with it and I hope we get the chance to come back someday and see the progress!

We were a bit unsure of this campground at first as the full time spots and surrounding buildings are a bit scruffy and I have to admit did put us off a bit, but that was unfounded.
The sites are gravel with small newly planted trees and a picnic bench. Fire rings and BBQs are available from the office. If there were 2 rigs side by side then I think it would be a bit tight but the park was reasonably quiet and we had 2 sites to ourselves. They are putting more spots in so I think they will always give you room if they can. We chose our own site.
The park was very quiet with little to no road noise, full hook ups, good Wi-Fi and cell signal, and only 10 minutes drive from Kanab. It felt safe and there were several others here taking advantage of the great price - only $125 for a week. This is a good base for exploring Grand Staircase Escalante. I believe the very friendly owners are building the park up, they were very keen to ensure we had everything we needed and told us to call any time.
Also if required there is a coin operated laundry just around the corner on the main street in Fredonia.
We would definitely come back.

We were just passing through and needed a place to spend the night with FHU’s. The park is just a dirt lot, but the power was clean, cell [AT&T] was good and the WiFi was over 90Mbps. Blazing fast for book, movie, streaming...all at the same time.
Did not check on rest rooms or showers. Quite a few more permanent trailers here, but all-in-all tidy and quiet.
The lot is pretty rutted, but passable.

Great place to stay, they had stay 2 nights and get 1 night free deal. Overall great place in the middle of nowhere. There is a laundry mat nearby that costs $3.5 for wash and $0.25 per 8min for dry. There is a steakhouse in town as well.

We stayed for 4 nights and the owner, Eric, kicked us out after refunding our money because my fiancé was scratched by a dog that wasn’t on a leash, and when we brought it up to the owner and he came to our trailer he claimed my fiancé had an attitude than returned with our refund and told us to leave. I don’t think he even did anything about the dog that wasn’t on a leash even though their rules clearly state all dogs must be on a leash, plus there is an Arizona state leash law.

This place had room when everything for 90 miles in every direction was full - for that I was grateful. It is a good, basic campground where a full-hookup site on hard packed dirt is $25 with no showers or restrooms. They had a dumpster, which we needed, but otherwise it's just a parking place. The Wi-Fi is free and some techie reviewers have said it's super fast. I would stay again. It's only 75 miles to the Grand Canyon north rim.

Nothing fancy here, hard packed dirt, still young trees but sites are level, staff friendly, and the wifi was great. Not very full but was nice and quite, despite being close to the road. Would stay again. Easy to park bigger rigs

Great stop-over place, especially for our hefty girl! Super easy to park and hookup for any size rig. It's just some dirt and a couple of trees. Lots of long term folks along the fence. It served it's purpose. The lady working the office was super sweet. Great spot if you're traveling. Didn't use the wifi. Verizon was terrible (1 down / .5 up) here but AT&T was great (22 down / 9 up).

Only thing we didn’t like was no restroom/no shower but can’t beat the price, only $150+taxes for a week.
