The major issue with our stay is just how close and cramped most sites are. The site was level and everyone we were around was super friendly which is great when you’re so close.
The campground was clean and offered playgrounds, activities and pools. We played a round of mini golf and enjoyed the amenities. WiFi was free and decent enough for the basics but don’t expect to steam video if that’s your thing.
The bath house was clean and overall the park is maintained well.
Pricing seems a little high considering the quality of sites. If you care more about the activities and amenities it’s worth checking out. If you prefer some quiet and space you should look elsewhere.

Second time in 2 yrs we have stayed here primarily because we like to walk into the quaint Bavarian themed downtown to restaurants and shops. Campground is well run, nice indoor pool and hot tub. Felt great on a chilly 38 degree May morning! Some adult only times at pool and hot tub. Good camp store. Even sold bathing suits, thank goodness since I forgot mine and they had my size! We stay in "deluxe" site 143, called deluxe I think because an end site so a little larger and nothing but gravel road and woods to view from under your patio. Other in row sites are stacked tight. Sites could benefit from resurfacing in cement or fresh layers of gravel to help with drainage. Ours was rutted and muddy but had been wet spring. Neighbors Rig' slide out on our other side was maybe 6 feet from us and bumped right up to power post. Sites share power post. Our neighbor had already plugged into the 30 amp so we had to use our 50 to 30 dog bone. Lucky we always have one, otherwise would have had to buy one at store. There is a large General RV store and dealership within 5 min. Of campground which was good cause we needed to replace our water inlet valve. Bathrooms are clean, with heat and A/C. Laundry area very decent but no coin changer so be prepared or get change at camp store. Staff at store very friendly and check in etc efficient. Grounds staff was not as friendly. Wifi was ok but campground was not very full since cold and early in season. It is throttled so no streaming. You cannot do campfires due to city ordinance unless in one of their permanently place rings in park grass areas or you can use a small raised 12 inches fireplace that you bring. They are very strick on this. Outdoor pool is nice. Did not use this trip but did in summer 2017 and can get crowded quick. It is a Jellystone after all so expect lots of families.

So close to everything! I love that downtown is so close and so is Bronner’s! Had Lots of things to do and see. The campground is tight and fairly expensive. I do feel like though the cost is made up for by the convenience of having things so close. You can have a fire but it needs to be in a container up off the ground. The staff was friendly and the campground was very clean and well maintained.

Level gravel sites with small grass space and large trees. FHUs 30 amp - everything worked well and we had great water pressure. Our satellite connected and we still had nice shade. Picnic table and fire ring. Their WiFi is fast - the park wasn't full, but still it was the best we've had in awhile. Friendly staff. Responsive, office open late.
Our row was empty during our stay and yet we were parked next to the only other unit rather than spacing us out. I never understand this? A rig came in for one night and they were put next to us on the other side, again plenty of open sites same row.
Very quiet at night which is great with all the families here. For opening your windows and blinds at night, ask for a site away from the front buildings where very bright lights shine all night - like sports field bright!
The cost was steep for us as we weren't here for the water park or any other tourist location, for those who come for those this is probably worth it. The little town is very cute and we did enjoy a chicken dinner :-)

Stayed here end of August 2021. Catching up on reviews.
THE GOOD
Clean campground.
Gated campground in a really well-maintained area.
Large office/store with lots of fun stuff available for your trip or just snacks.
Location: Close to groceries, restaurants, and gas. Downtown Frankenmuth is 2 minutes away. Could walk to the center of town for sure and enjoy the area.
Sites: Large standard back-in sites with a big area for the picnic table and a fire pit. The picnic table looks like it was positioned on what used to be another small back-in. See photo,
Amenities: Fun stuff for families.
THE BAD
Nothing to note here that I can remember.
WORTH NOTING
WiFi: Can't recall.
Cell: Can't recall.

This location gets a 5 star rating from us in terms of amenities and location! Most off the sites are extremely close together - the standard sites, which constitute most of the sites at the park are so close that the fire marshal has forbid firepits at those sites. If you can get past being sardined in unless you score a Premium site, this place is great!
Two pools - one indoor and one outdoor, lots of park lead activities for kids (arts. and crafts, and a Saturday night dance party with a DJ, special character appearances), a jumping pillow, playground, and bike rentals. The camp store has treats and knick-knacks. Camp staff is very friendly.
This park is walking distance to downtown Frankenmuth, the Michigan Military museum, an aerial park, and Bronners Christmas mega store.
We would most definitely book here again if we wanted to visit Frankenmuth!
