Westex Living RV Park

I’m traveling cross country. It was a pleasure staying here. Owners were nice, not overbearing. Lots are very big and easy to back into. Clean and laundry room available. Very good WiFi. Cell signal good (TMobile). Excellent price.

Nice park with full-hookups (20 amp, 30 amp, 50 amp, water, and sewer) at all sites. Sites are quite large and many guests are able to park multiple vehicles and/or multiple trailers on their site. There is also a nice dog run that has a couple disc golf holes, horse shoes, and a small putting green. The only downsides are the owner's dog barks whenever someone drives by or while visiting the dog park and there is a little bit of road noise and sounds from the FedEx station next door. Otherwise, the campground is nice and the owners are friendly.

I am updating my review from 3 starts to 1 after having been here for a couple days. The owner’s dog never stops barking. Every time someone moves outside their trailer or a vehicle drives by the dog starts barking again.

Have stayed here twice on our way through. Management is friendly and accommodating. Park is very clean and in good shape. Great value

It was nice and clean.

When I called in late the owner, Mark, warned me of bad storms in the area with large hail. Not good any time, but especially towing my new Airstream.

The park is about five years old with wide sand pads. They have a small dog park.

Good spot to stay coming or going to Big Bend NP.

This family-run campground is new and clean, with full hookups and spacious, level sites. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Most affordable local option at $25/night, well worth driving the extra mile off I-10. We’ve also stayed at Hilltop RV Park in this area and would choose Westex from now on for the price, convenience, and location!

The owner is awesome and super laid back! We had an unexpected problem and needed to stay late into the next day and it was no problem.

Pros:
- clear and well maintained
- laundry room was clean $2/ machine
- nice dog park
- easy access from the highway
- close to groceries and fuel
- full hook ups and WiFi
- looked nicer than other campgrounds in the area
- good price

Cons:
- some road noise
- this not a destination park with things to do, but it’s a great place base out of
- no shade

Nice campground to stay a night on Christmas Eve as we were traveling through . Would have been nice to be given the WiFi code and told where the laundry room was, but we got by without it. Nice people that own the place and felt safe there, not like the night before in Mesilla, NM. Traffic noise was a bit noisy but since it was cold and we were inside with furnace and heaters going, it was tolerable .

Clean, easy to get to, nice laundry facilities.

Clean, easy pull through, doggie area, laundry, full hookup and Walmart in town

Only downside is that they don't take reservations so you must call and verify if available on the day you plan to stay
