The only thing lacking is the Tikki Bar (under construction, next to the pool). One of the owners expressed some disdain that it was supposed to have been completed "some time ago!" A beautiful property that is under "Phase II" development and still has many lots for sale. If we were going to make Florida our full-time resort destination, this would be the place. People are friendly and welcoming (with only a few exceptions). The location is in an area that is close enough to many services, but without the highway or train noises that are typical of most RV camping locations. As renters, we found that the high cost was well worth it!

It is a HOA with plenty of rules, so READ them. It is a beautiful resort with spacious nice sites and plenty of amenities and activities. Our experience there…
We checked in with no issues and the office staff was very helpful. Note that we have 3 little dogs that weigh 21lbs altogether and that I walk them all every day around the campground. 5 days later, a neighbor complained that our dogs were barking incessantly for an hour. Exaggerated statement for sure, although I do admit they were barking at the ducks around the lake a little too often which we were addressing and would put them inside the RV. I received a call from Patti regarding this when she stated that we had 3 dogs which was against the rules. I told her that we always mention we have 3 small dogs (since some places are strict with a two dog max, but most allow them since they are so small) and she insisted that we did not. She said she would talk to her manager. I felt bad about the mix up and figured we could work something out. My initial thought was to ensure no more than two dogs were outside at once and we would keep them all inside most of the time. Marsha, who made our reservation called me back and also insisted that we did not disclose the dogs to her when we made our second reservation (we were going to stay two months). Then Michelle, the manager, got on the phone and basically read me the riot act about the 3 dogs. I re-explained how we would have mentioned it and she said ‘if that were true, we would not have been allowed to register. She was standing behind her staff’. She said that ‘we had been caught sneaking in 3 dogs’ and that we would need to kennel them or leave. We had until 10am the next day (basically 20 hours). I mentioned we had family flying in that day to visit, but it made no difference. We picked up our family from the airport, found a place to go (thankfully), and the next day we left as instructed. I had to call 3 times to tell them we left and to ensure we were going to receive a refund.
This all happened on Christmas Eve…

I recently did a shakedown camp out after purchasing our first, Class A diesel pusher at North Trail Rv in Ft Meyers. Cypress Trails RV Resort in Ft Myers Is just a short dosctane off I 75 on the east side of Fort Myers. There are some true luxury RV resorts in the Naples - Fort Myers area, and Cypress trails holds its own in my opinion. The staff was super helpful, the grounds meticulous and the residents and renters were very friendly. I told staff we were a new Coach owner, And they offered to lead me in, spot and assist with parking. Had a beautiful lake side pad, with a tiki hut and 20/30 and 50 amp service. I definitely plan on going back. And would highly recommend to all.
