It’s all ruined by the rude, unhelpful staff, and the unusable amenities. When we made reservations (6 months ahead) we were told they don’t reserve specific sites, they assign them as you check in. When we arrived, the park was only 20% full (and stayed that way except for the weekend) but they put us in a high traffic site right on the road, at an intersection. If that wasn’t bad enough, our spot was less than 100 yards from the pool, which they were demolitioning, along with the pool house. Each morning, at 7am, we were awoken to tractors breaking up cement and dumping it into dump trucks. We asked to move, to the other side of the park (which was almost empty) and were told that those sites were already reserved for the weekend. What?!?! We came to realize that all of the nicer sites were given to friends of the staff. The staff held sites for their friends, who were only weekend campers. Premium sites went unoccupied all week, when there were several people like us, willing to pay for several weeks at a time.
When we complained about obnoxious campers near us (they were loud all night and setting off fireworks in their camp), the staff did nothing. The free internet NEVER WORKS! When we inquired about it, we were told “it’s always like that, but it’s free so don’t complain”. Seriously?!?! Same with the cable tv hook up; it was so bad that our local antenna picked up better signal. The camp store carried nothing of use, except fire wood and ice, both of which they were out of regularly.
Planes overhead is something most FamCampers get used to; in fact we often enjoy it. But, at Uchee Creek, they airfield is just on the other side of the river, and planes are almost brushing the tree tops of camp as the come in and go out.

This place is awesome! Beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed here to attend an Infantry Graduation at Ft Benning. It was easier than we expected to obtain a pass and travel with our 19’ Airstream. For $24/night, you can’t expect a better deal anywhere with full hookups, a picnic table and paved parking pad. We took a long walk through the camp ground on the first night and a 10 mile bike ride on the second night.

Overall a nice park. Very scenic and really spacious. Check in was a breeze handled by friendly staff,
The internet does not work. They referred to it as "spotty'. Plenty of antennas, but zero signal, and Verizon coverage was weak.
Apparently, they feel receiving mail is a major imposition. Not sure why that is, but the Hispanic woman working in the office made that quite clear, what a favor she was doing to accept the FedEx package addressed to my site #. She made up several stories about site delivery. Then she told me it wasn't delivered because my site number was not part of the address. I showed her that it was non the package. she then told me it was not in the right place. So, I am still unsure of hoe get mail delivered.
The same woman was a very rude person. She made me feel unwelcome. One of those people who believes using "yes sir and no sir" is all it takes to be considered not rude. She was a master of rudeness, and hopefully is not representative of management's attitude.

Stayed here a week PCS-ing in. Great sized spots and spaced out. The reservation system leaves something to be desired, there was no way to reserve online. I had to call and never received an email confirming my stay so it was kind of worrying not knowing if I had a reservation or not. On site facilities were good. They have a splash pad, pool, and you can rent boats to ride up and down the river from the marina. DO NOT stay here if you have T Mobile. Even with a signal booster it was impossible to get service here. Very hot in the summer but the power grid was good and we didn’t have any outages on the 30a service during our stay in July. Noise was ok but you are near the flight path for the airfield so you’ll hear things going on overhead from time to time. If you’re affiliated with the military it probably won’t bother you as it’s pretty infrequent, no more than other installations can be.
