Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on January 26, 2023We were staying at The Vineyards Campground, across the lake, and needed to stay in the area a few more days. SInce our spot was not available to extend at the Vineyards, we decided on this park. It was closer to our family anyways so we thought we would try it out and we are glad we did. This place looks brand new and the sites are awesome. The staff was great and there are several cabins on the property that look equally amazing. The park is gated, which is a cool extra. This is a very cool place on the north side of DFW metroplex.

We camped at the newly remodeled Twin Coves at their primitive camping site. We camped at the number three spot which is the largest and can accommodate multiple tents. Each primitive site is a different size. Some sites are close enough together that you do hear noise from the other camps if you have rowdy neighbors. Dogs are allowed. Ice is sold at the camp store. There are good trails for biking and hiking but they are NOT good for strollers even if you have an off road hiking stroller like I do. There is a park on the RV side that’s small and not shaded that well. But there are beautiful pavilions and a small disc golf course. Bathrooms were clean and but a small walk away from the primitive area. Good beginner campsite.

This is nice place but on the expensive side at $45 per night for a back in and $55 for a pull through. both sites have 50 & 30 Amp full hook ups. The place is well taken care of with large lots and LOTS of trash cans, ITS CLEAN!! Also, right on the water. Not a fan of the cost but i would consider staying here again, we left for an $18 a night place about 20 min up the road not on the water but very close.
cell service is spotty on some of the trails but at the sites its great.
sorry i don't have any pictures, but as of May 2018 this place looks brand new.

If you only need water and hydro, there are a few $35 sites, with green space. Hard covered picnic shelter with metal tables. All the roads and sites are beautifully paved. Modern facilities. Lots of garbage cans. Very clean.

This isn’t your run of the mill city rv park. It is nearly new and is very well designed. Most of the sites are back in with a lake view. Easy access all cement pads with plenty of room for our 39’ five slide fifth wheel. Plenty of space between sites. Full hook ups at most and 50A electric. Gated access. Get exact address for the park, as we ended up at city hall first. Verizon was poor. Park wifi pretty slow but has pay for upgrade. DFW area 30-45 minutes away. Lots of local shopping, food 15-20 minutes.
Some aircraft noise, but not a deal breaker for us.

I will very rarely pay $45/night for camping.... anywhere. This place is an exception. The park is almost brand new and very well designed. It is owned and operated by the city of Flower Mound. The sites are all level cement pads arranged along the north side of Grapevine Lake and have beautiful views. The best thing about it, for us, is its proximity to the Grapevine/Dallas area where my parents are in assisted living. There is some hiking available and kayaking on the lake just outside your door. If you plan to be there over a weekend, then I highly recommend reservations.

Hidden gem near the DFW area. We’ve used this as a our base several times doing business in Dallas. Not many frills and the weekends are super busy with people who don’t have a clue with campground etiquette with the cabin rentals. Last December and February were so quiet.

Wonderful little city park in Flower Mound TX. Camp hosts and management are professional and super helpful, even after hours. Site 14 is a large pull-through with plenty of room if somewhat out of level. We didn't work while staying there so I don't have the AT&T data connection numbers. Lots of trails and a nice lake for kayaking etc.
Would stay again!

Really good park with full hook ups, large flat concrete parking and strong WiFi. You get free limited WiFi but if you want to stream you have to pay to upgrade, it’s $8.00 for 3 days. The cell service is weak here, Verizon gets 1 bar and att 1 to 1.5.
The sites along the west, 9,10,11, etc are close to the water, but in hot weather you get afternoon sun pretty bad. Also, we noted whiffs of the large septic tank at site 11, but not an issue at 10.
The park Hosts are super great and friendly, they were always around and making sure people were having fun and had anything they needed.

Nice flat cemented sites with metal picnic tables. Built in fire pits but we used our propane firepit since they were having a moderate drought. Very quiet and peaceful. We stayed during the week. Lovely spot on the lake. Would definitely plan to stay here again. We did not see a bath house but we have our own facilities.
