Merchants of Old Town

You don’t want to miss historic Old Town Florence nestled against the Siuslaw River for some of the most unique shopping and dining in our area. The Merchants of Old Town warmly encourages visitors to come and spend an afternoon or a day discovering historic Florence and Old Town. Flower boxes and seating along the street, or sit and enjoy the river view from the Old Town Gazebo. Friendly merchants and lots of smiles await you.

The Merchants of Old Town Florence is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote retail growth and tourism in Florence. This organization is made up of a variety of member merchants and people that offer varied and interesting services and wares to the visiting public. Being a member of The Merchants of Old Town provides a place where merchants can go to voice their concerns and creative ideas for improving their own and their fellow members’ success with their businesses. The Merchants of Old Town supports the local community by organizing, financing and sponsoring many community events such as Dickens Christmas and the Rods n’ Rhodies car show. We have a very active group of people involved that are focused on the continued success of Florence’s retail business.

Tourists reap the reward of the many creative and enthusiastic events that are held by The Merchants of Old Town each year. Our goal is to have our visitors leave happy and eager to plan a return trip to enjoy our beautiful Oregon coast.
