Bob's Creek Beach

As you're driving the 101, don't miss this gem of a beach just south of Yachats. The tidepools are amazing, filled to capacity with sea anemones, large colorful starfish, crabs and the like. The tidepools here were far better than what we saw at Cape Perpetua, and we scaled the rocks all along that cape. The small beach parking lot is right off the highway, but most seem to drive right past, no clue as to what they're missing. For best tidepool viewing, come once the tide goes out. Little kids will love this. I practically had to drag mine away - and had to bring him back the next day! And since most people don't realize what this beach has to offer, you won't have to share it with but a few.
