“escape to the country atmosphere for a relaxing stay”
Welcome to Flatonia RV Ranch - a family owned and operated business. We recently opened in the summer of 2007 with 42 spots on 19 acres. Our 40 x 60 clubhouse includes the office, showers, restrooms, washateria, full kitchen, and an open area to accommodate large gatherings. Outside the back door of the clubhouse is a 2-acre pond with a lighted fishing pier. Flatonia is a town surrounded by ranches, rolling countryside, and rural communities rich with Czech and German heritage. We are a quick drive to the big cities of Houston, Victoria, New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Austin, but far enough away to escape to the country atmosphere for a relaxing stay.

Long Long level sites. Managers very nice older couple. Bathrooms in laundry room older but well kept and maintained and very not much in town to see or do but it's a great place for just relaxing. Nice little pond for fishing.

In past stays, this was an awesome, quiet, well maintained park. Now that it has been taken over by an investment group (with whom you can have no contact or their information) You can only speak to an incompetent manager. Go without water for 7 days. (Because they were scared not because the town didn't have water) Travis' inability to add / run a computer you will not receive a correct bill or a receipt. The website has been updated to not accurately depict the actual RV park. The amenities shown are not available at the actual park. If I could give it zero stars now I would. It was so much better in past years. Now I wouldn't recommend it.

Called after hours , manager was friendly. Stayed one night, large and spacious RV spots. Good cell service and free WiFi. Nothing fancy , but great spot to stay , right off the I-10 and easy to find even at night.

This park was quite a pleasant surprise. The camp manager, Travis, lives on site and is very accommodating. The camp is quiet with several longtermers. The on-site laundry was $4/load to wash and dry. The washteria is in the honor system. The town has truly amazing food. The wine haus was incredibly delicious.

Like others, we found this RV park a great overnight stop while traveling I-10. Many long termers, but they stayed to themselves. Road noise from highway, but not a negative for us. Sites are gravel/rock with grassy areas adjacent. Not perfectly level, but we wiggled the trailer around a bit in the spot until we got close. Full hookups. Laundry onsite, though we didn’t use. Looked clean. Bathroom is an odd layout with no doors separating stalls or toilet - curtains only. They were perfectly functional and clean though. Good value!

We called pretty last minute to see if we could get a spot for the night. The manager who helped us was very friendly and booked a site for us. We got there late but it was an easy pull through spot, the park was nice and clean, and we didn’t hear any noise overnight. There’s a big field to walk dogs which was a bonus. Very convenient location right off the highway.

Stayed overnight on our way back home to FL. Not far from I-10 and plenty spaces available. Our spot was pretty leveled and we had full hookups and good WiFi connection. For the price it wasn’t bad at all.

I was scheduled to stay for two nights to visit a cousin. Turns out the cousin has hookups and room for an RV at his place. So tried to cancel my reservation. Called Flatonia rv ranch and was told we don't use newbook reservation system, we use booking dot com. Funny, newbook reservation system is where flatonia rv ranch's official web page reservation button took me.
The women in the office said she couldn't see my reservation in their system. So, Where the heck did my money go? And how do I get it returned?
Now this RV park might be a great place to stay per the past reviews. But it is specifically their web page reservation issues that I'm reviewing. I would highly suggest a person CALL to make reservations at Flatonia RV Ranch.
