Painted Desert Trading Co. was founded by Mark and Janet Shipley in 1993 on the Navajo Reservation in Cameron, AZ. We are a bead and craft supply oriented to the Native American trade. We are a wholesale craft supply business serving Native artists on the Navajo Nation for over 20 years. We operate a retail gallery in Flagstaff, AZ that specializes in the art and crafts of Navajo, Hopi, Zuni and Santo Domingo artists, as well as a selection of pottery and textiles by Native Mexican artists.
