Clean gas station with convenience story.
Was being used as I pulled up and my 32 ft towable was almost in the road as l waited. Could not use the gas pumps and could not make a left out of station to get back on the highway.
Great and always appreciated free dump site with easily available water spigot that works with good pressure. Downsides- the turn ins off lucky are tight and angled weird so you might scrape, and, because people choose to be less that courteous, the actual dump is not always able to be used because it is overfilled or broken in some capacity due to user abuse. Let’s all remember that if we don’t treat services and places gently and with respect, we will lose them.
Out of ordered. Disgusting stop for dumping.
This Conoco/Giant DOES have potable water. It's on the opposite side of the building from the dump.
This gas station can be crowded at times due to it being directly off the freeway, but is free and easily accessible.
As Bruce M said, there is indeed potable water on the opposite side of the building from the dump station. It's easy to miss, however, as I did on two passes with the trailer before getting out to look. I then finally noticed that it's enclosed behind an unlocked metal door. I've included photos to help.
This station is located at a busy interchange off I-40, and depending on which way you approach you may be prohibited from turning directly into the station. It's also very busy, and there's a diesel pump right next to the dump which further complicates access.
We had dumped previously so we didn’t use their dump. Just needed water. The previous reviews are correct. The water is located on the opposite side of the dump. It was locked so we asked an employee and he unlocked it for us.
It was a bit difficult to maneuver with a 32’ but we managed.
Sewage was overflowing at the dump station. After dumping, I asked the cashier to unlock the potable water and was told that they are no longer dispensing due to a customer recently getting sick. They sent me to Black Bart’s RV Park about 5 min away.
Well if you need to Dump without filing water go for it, if you need to dump and fill water don’t waste your time go to RV park near by.
They locked water and not letting any one use it any more. I talk to the manager of the station - he says it was fight between two RV people who was first and from that point on they no longer let people fill! Sucks! And this is why people don’t like us anymore - common really fist fight over F*#%@!$ water really! Well it's bad for all of us who don’t fight.
So hope it’s help .
