Large, tree-shaded sites in a natural setting among the Ponderosa pines. We have a general store, sandwich shop, playground, horseshoe pits, bath houses & hot showers, and laundry rooms. We have large pull-thru's, full hookups (30 amp) and tent sites. We are family owned and operated. We recommend reservations, and we do allow a maximum of 2 pets. We have monthly RV sites & RV storage available. We have an internet cafe and a book exchange. We allow Charcoal briquette or gas grill/stoves.

Nice place, great breakfast burritos. Very peaceful despite the trains that run constantly nearby. If in the neighborhood we'd definitely come back here.
A really quaint & relaxing campground not too far from town but just far enough away to enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay among the trees. Would definitely come back!
Nice quiet campground, close to town but far enough away to enjoy nature. Nice sites, friendly people, decent prices.
Staff was super nice, gave us a few choices of different spots, and even let us have an Amazon order dropped a few days before our arrival so we had it when we arrived. We had some friends join us for the weekend and they tent camped. They reported that the bathrooms were kind of old but well kept. The same can be said for the laundry room. As for the laundry, its $2 for a wash and a quarter gets you 7 minutes in the dryer. Its cold wash only, so if you have some heavily soiled stuff, you might want to go down the street to the laundromat.
As for the site itself, it had a little bit of slope front to back, but was level for the most part where it counts. Our particular site was 30 amp only, and these sites do not have local breakers, I'm not the biggest fan of that. There are about 5 acres of woods on the east side of the property that are great for exploring with the dogs, so that was a good bonus for them.
If you are deciding between this camp and Kit Carson which is a bit closer to Flagstaff (half mile maybe) I would choose this, seems much better kept, and no shady looking mobile homes.
It was nice and quite, but it did lose a star due to a construction project that is happening on the lot to the south of the park.

Woody Mountain is camping under the canopy of Ponderosa Pines. We stayed here very early in the season - their first night open, I think - so the campground was pretty empty. That made for a very nice experience 3 of the 4 nights we were here. We were camping with friends who were in site 19, and one of the nights someone pulled into site 18 between us so we looked out at a giant white wall that night. Don't know why they put someone there when the park was not very full....The sites are very close together, so if it was busy, it would have been a completely different experience. Site 17 is really narrow we came to realize, much narrower than the others, so I would not take that one again. We also did have trouble leveling front to back as there must have been a bit of a dip in the middle of the site. Bathrooms were old, but clean. Laundry was clean but only had cold water wash. Staff was very! friendly. There is quite a bit of train noise at night.

This is a nice, short distance from downtown Flagstaff, about 8 minutes and close to a Home Depot, Sprouts and Target.
It was pleasant and pretty, but there is some road noise. My site was fairly unlevel and needed a couple of pieces of wood to be level.
Otherwise, WiFi was great, laundry was expensive. The store had a good variety of food and beer. The receptionists were nice and they stored a few packages for me.
Laundry was quite pricey, so I waited until my next stop.
A solid 3.5 stars.

We stayed here the last week of April 2018. This is a nice, tall pine wooded campground with all different size sites, all dirt. Ours was a bit narrow but the ones to either side of us were not. We didn't mind as it was plenty wide. We were in pull-through site A49, which was fairly level. We had FHU, Wi-Fi and picnic table. OTA channels were pretty good. Upon arrival the staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The campground at night is quiet except for many trains. They are not loud nor did they toot their horns but we could hear them frequently. Not a problem for us. They have laundry but we did not visit. They also have a market and sell beer. There is a lot to do in the area. We visited the Petrified Forest NP/Painted Desert, Grand Canyon NP, Meteor Crater and Winslow. AZ. We would stay here again.

I would prefer this over Kit Carson
Not a lot of big rig sites
Nicely forested
Small close and tight sights
Many not level
I can see why it’s harder for them to accommodate big rigs

I want to say that for the most part the campground is very clean and nice. Nestled in the pines... Cool right? Our issues? We knew we were coming in late so we requested a pull through... We were told that’s what we were getting. We showed up at 9:45PM tired and ready to just go to bed to find we were moved to a back in. Ok fine. After backing into the slot in the dark we find that we are in the most uneven spot in the free world! After setting up the hookups I quit for the night. The next morning I finally was able to level it in the day light. Good luck trying to dump your tanks without some cardio. We also contacted them ahead of time for a late check out. No problem they said. We woke up on Sunday and called in. Yea... No. get out by 11:30... We also got a text early Sunday morning saying they had their famous breakfast burritos for sale. My girlfriend walked over to get us some shortly after. They had no idea what we were talking about as the kitchen was closed. One more thing. Super quiet! Except for the constant train noise. Needless to say I’m not sure we will be back.
