“Established in good ole' 1897”
The Hotel Weatherford’s rooms are decorated in a charming, turn-of-the-century style. It’s a refreshing step back to yesteryear. Our downstairs pub, Charly’s, has live entertainment most nights of the week. The Santa Fe Railway is only a block away, so you’ll hear the sounds of trains and horns. The hotel is apparently haunted by the ghosts of a newlywed couple. Alluding, strangely, to the story of Romeo and Juliet, two younguns married, and shortly after, the husband went on a hunting trip, only to run into a terrible blizzard. The wife hung herself, fearing the worst. But the husband wasn't dead. No. He came back, only to discover the awful truth. In an act of sadness, he killed himself with ole' blue. Today, guest report seeing orbs, images, voices, and even apparitions. Stay if you dare.
