Great campground if you are looking for a place to get away from the crowds. New owner has made great improvements. Very friendly and helpful campground staff. Great Verizon cell coverage. Big rig friendly with large pull through full hookup sites. Boat ramp access to Orange Lake - great for fishing and gator shining. Conveniently located to good restaurants: The Yearling; Blue Highway; Eagles Nest; Pearl Country BBQ. Easy access to campground off US Hwy 301 and 441. Close to the Hawthorn to Gainesville Rails to Trails bike trail. Great nature viewing at Sweetwater Wetlands Park and Alachua Lake Overlook south of Gainesville.

I'm very happy here. it's everything that you want and nothing that you don't need; clean, quiet, beautiful view on the water, well maintained, utilities included, Marco the property manager is very nice and helpful...Hidden Gem!
