Port Saint Joe RV Resort

Staff was friendly, “campground” was well kept, but looked more like a modern parking lot. Small grass strips next to each site, though sites were long. No picnic tables or fire rings. Looked to be a lot of full timers, but mostly newer rigs. Not much to do in town, a small museum, a couple of restaurants. The few fast food restaurants do not open their dinning rooms until lunch, which is not the campgrounds fault, but like most places now, nobody wants to work. Quite a few campgrounds around, and they all looked like parking lots, so must be the standard here. Cellular internet not good, campground internet flakey.

We stayed here for the Memorial Day weekend. This is a fairly new site right off of HWY98. While there is no shade here, that did not matter because we spent our time at the pool and walking the beach on the bay right across the street with our pups. Miles the GM and his wife Michelle were so nice and accommodating to our needs. Jeremy who works at the camp as well was a super nice guy and very helpful. Park is clean and safe, and we could not have asked for anything else on our way down the "Forgotten Coast"!!

Really nice park and reasonably priced for this area. WI-FI and air tv reception is a little spotty.

Disappointing at best, just so many things were below expectations.
Lot sizes are small, Although they have 2 Shower, both were out of order. Sinks in the Bathroom only have HOT water going through them, so scolded my hands washing them. Internet worked for 1 night only. Office closes at 5 pm so they can't help.
Just so many things went wrong that I have to do the unusual thing and give it a 1star only.

Just completing our first stay here. It’s the week of Christmas 2022. Park is new, well planned out and easy to navigate. Sites are wide and hook-ups are well placed and easily accessible. Staff are very friendly and the check in (we arrived after hours) was painless. Showers/bathrooms/laundry was spotless. Wi-Fi was above average and we had no problem streaming. Will certainly stay here again.
