Beautiful setting, and a very nice park with bathroom facilities, playground equipment, and laundry. However, we were lucky to be there early in the season when it wasn't full, because sites are close together and not at all private. Even worse, the sites on our loop (the very end) were not even close to level. We used all our blocks and still couldn't get completely level. We thought about moving, but the other sites looked just as bad.

Overall, 3.5 stars. Well maintained with good staff. Beautiful area and decent lake for paddle sports. The secondary ramp where the boathouse and rentals are located is a better kayak put in. Falmouth is 10-15 minutes away with small grocery stores, fast food options and a great BBQ place on Shelby Street, The Smoking Pig. Many sites are short, not at all level, and packed in pretty tight. There is only a single lane in, so be prepared to wait in line during peak hours at the start of the weekend to check in, or if coming back in the park after going into town. The dump and flush on the way in blocks the road, and when we left to go eat on a Friday evening, there was quite a line backed up getting in. Located near the confluence of the Licking River and its south fork, the ridges above the river valley make a nice drive with spectacular views for several miles.

The staff was nice, rangers patrolled often. Some sites were close together, and extremely unlevel. There are a lot of things to do( basketball, play ground, mini golf, pool, lake activities exc). Bathrooms were clean and there was a laundry facility. There is also a ball golf and disk golf course in the park. Only one dump station and the exit road can get backed up because of this.
