Although this park isn't as big compared to some others I've been to, it's still a nice little place to go. You can view the historic Martin's Station and the Karlan Mansion (although you're not allowed inside the mansion, you can still walk around the outside and take pictures and such). There are two hiking trails: one is the Indian Ridge Trail, which is short and rather easy and the Wilderness Road Trail which is an 8 mile hike(which I plan to do next time I go). There's also a little playground area for children and several pavilions which are available for use. I would highly recommend going here.

Visited here last spring so we were just short of the live reenactments that they have the summer. We still had an enjoyable time walking through the old settlement. The backdrop of the mountains made it a great view as well. The people inside the visitor center were very helpful and friendly. They also have some buffalo outside as well!
