In March 2022 we visited this part of Everglades NP. WE took the tram trip and thoroughly enjoyed the Ranger guide , the wildlife we saw and the observation tower. Be aware that the parking lot is small and at time there may be a wait to enter. The policy when the lot is full: one out-one in...so there may be a wait at times.

Tram ride was very informative. Our guide was knowledgeable and excited about her job. Great alternative way to to see the Everglades. Walkway Tower was impressive being where it was in the middle of the Glades.

It's about $20 to get in. They have a narrated tram ride (about $24) and several walking and biking paths, you can also rent bikes there. We didn't have to go far to see alligators, birds and lots of native plants.
