Very nice open RV park surrounded by farm and Lake Huron wetlands. Nice boat launch. Very clean men's restroom with touchless faucets. Nice private locking big shower stalls, for a wonderful hot showers. Free wi-fi. I plan to come again. Reasonable rates.
This is a small campground that has a lot of seasonal sites. The pads are gravel, with 50 amp FHU, and the sites are grassy. Very few trees and little to no privacy, but a nice community. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table, mother fire wood is a good deal at $5 for a wheelbarrow full. You are a little out of the way, but it is quiet. Bay City is a nice town with lots of restaurants. The farm stands closer to the campground are really great, I recommend them.
We had good AT&T coverage and no problem getting satellite reception. The wifi was down when we got there, but it was up and running the next day. It was, by far, the best wifi we have ever had in a campground! There were times it was slower than others, but it worked and sometimes, especially late at night, it was very fast.
If we were in the area, we would stay here again.

I'm giving this campground 4 stars in spite of the occasional odor from the stagnant water around the park. We didn't spend much time outside, except for our morning and evening walks down the paved trail along the water canal.
Finn Road Campground has 30 amp full hookup sites for the same price as partial hookups at Bay City State Park, which is why we chose to stay here. We ended up paying an extra $1/night for a 50/30 amp site, because there weren't any 30amp-only sites available for the entire duration of our stay.
The campground seems to consist primarily of full-time or seasonal campers, and their sites were well kept. Our site was paved and spacious.
Over-the-air HDTV worked great, and included CBS.

This is a quiet, green, tree covered campground that sits right next to Lake Huron. There's a nice walking path that goes up to the water, however, when we were there, there was a ton of algae growing in the water.
Sites here are pretty standard for a commercial campground. We had a reasonable amount of space between us and our neighbors (we lucked out with a corner site), but some spaces felt more private than others. Overall, site spacing was just OK, but the general feel of the campground was better than expected.
While the campground is small, the roads were reasonably easy to navigate and our site was level. Unfortunately, the water spigots are shared between sites, so we had to run our water line under our RV to get to it. This was fine for our fresh water needs, but we couldn't rinse our black tank because our separate water hose for that process was not long enough to reach. Not the end of the world, but just something to be aware of. If we were to stay again, we'd be sure to request a site with the utilities all on our driver's side.
The value here was just great. We rarely see $27 per night for FHU sites, and this place was well maintained, green, and quiet. While the sites weren't the biggest we've seen, they also weren't the smallest, and given the overall feel of the place, we were very happy with the price. They also sell firewood at the bargain basement price of $5.00 per wheelbarrow!

Small campground with nice sites that are pretty level. Trees provide some shade. Small playground if you have kids. Full hookups for $26. can't beat it. The staff is very nice. $5.00 for a wheelbarrow of firewood - how do you beat that? There's a nature trail and a path along the canal to Lake Huron. Not a lot else. Very quiet during our visit. The perimeter sites seem to have a bit more room than the interior sites. Both interior and exterior sites are bigger than some campgrounds.

Very well maintained and very friendly staff! Just 15 min from downtown Bay City and great fishing just steps away from the campground! All the spots are paved with a small grassy area. Plenty of shaded and sunny spot options. Many spots are good for Starlink, but our spot (site 21) had too many trees and had to use our AT&T hotspot which has a very strong 5G signal.

Our favorite part was the bath house with warm showers with ample dressing area. 4 stars as you most be careful and have good shower shoes so am not to slip on concrete floor in shower. Terrific spot whether you have kids and/or pets to hit the trails and see new things. Drive over to Bay City and do the Riverwalk too!

Very clean, well manicured facility. Each site is a large concert pad with grass and trees giving the feeling of being home and space. The bathrooms are secure , clean and well constructed. You can purchase a wheelbarrow of firewood, about 15 pieces for 10.00. You are at the end of a road with walking paths to wildlife management area. Absolutely gorgeous.
