“reunite with nature”
Mid Hills Campground is located in the Mojave National Preserve in the southern portion of the park. This campground lies in a forest of pinyon pine and juniper trees at 5,600 feet on the eastern slope of the Mid Hills between the Providence and New York Mountains. Because of the high elevation, Mid Hills Campground is much cooler than the desert floor. The site provides access to hiking and sightseeing. This campground is surrounded by desert and it will reunite you with the mystery and the majesty of its power. Be sure to watch out for poisonous snakes and insects. This campground has 26 campsites that can each hold up to 6 people. This is the desert so remember to bring plenty of extra water! Enjoy your stay!
