“An excellent collection of railroad & cultural memorabilia”
We recently visited the Ennis Railroad & Cultural Heritage Museum located alongside the tracks in Ennis, Texas. This is a very interesting little museum with an exceptional collection of railroad and cultural memorabilia. The museum features a large collection of items related to the Houston and Central Texas Railroad which ran through the town. There is a large diorama of the old engine roundhouse that once existed just north of the museums location. The museum also has a large collection of rare china, and a large display of vintage locomotive models hand-crafted by the original collector.
