Mike's Place Restaurant

In 1996, with nothing but a desire to cook great food and a few dollars in his pocket, Michael Voutsinas moved from Ohio to the quiet town of Emerald Isle, North Carolina. Mike's plan was to open a nice little diner and provide locals, fishermen and tourist with a nice clean place to get a good hot breakfast or a tasty lunch. Through the years Mike's Place has become a favorite place for locals to gather. Located within walking distance of the Bogue Inlet Pier, Mike's Place is a perfect place for fishermen and tourist to grab a bite to eat. Today, Mike's dream is a reality and Mike's Place is a well known establishment on the island.
