I stayed here on a Friday night before a weekend event in the Elma. I pulled into the "truck and RV" parking area. At the time there were only 3 semis and 2 RVs parked for the night. Lighting was good. The bathrooms were acceptably maintained. There's lots of grassy areas and picnic tables around both sides of the parking lot. For a highway rest area, this one is quiet and peaceful. Traffic on Hwy 8 was light and the noise wasn't bothersome during the night.
I believe there is an 8 hour stay limit. If you're looking for a free place to stay the night, this place is worthwhile.
