We stayed five nights in a wide, very shaded long pull-through with full hookups. Site also had picnic table and fire pit. The entire campground is shaded and even though it is just off of the main highway, it is quite peaceful and it feels like you are in a remote place. Sites were very wide and even when we had someone next to us, it still felt almost as open as when the site was empty.
Restrooms were dated but clean and had lots of hot water. Laundry and cable (with a refundable deposit for a cable box) also available. Poor cell service for both AT&T and Verizon. Campground wi-fi was decent- enough to get some work done, but not stream movies.
A great place to stay in Door County away from some of the town craziness!

Easy access for big rigs. Note: There is more than one entry to the park. We were met by a friendly couple as we drove in, given our site information, and asked to get settled and then return to pay for our stay. They don't accept credit cards, cash/check only. We were here 18 days and were sad to leave. Door County is a special place. This is a large park with a number of seasonal, maybe permanent residents. All sites that we saw were well maintained and folks were friendly. There are a lot of mature trees in the “main” section of the campground. As others have mentioned, there is a newer section of the campground that has no trees and offers no privacy between sites. There are both pull-through and back-in sites available. Sites are gravel. Interior roads were easy to navigate, even with our car in tow. The utilities at our site were perfectly placed for class A motor homes, and they worked as expected. At the time of our stay, there was no cable in the newer section, but it appeared as though they were working on supplying it to the newer section. We had 4 OTA PBS channels. There was no designated pet area, but there was plenty of open green space to walk pets. Verizon cell service was hit and miss during our time in Door County.

This is a great campground and launching pad to explore all of Door County, WI. It is truly a beautiful area. The check-in process is efficient and it's a true "mom-and-pop" operation. The only downside was a little bit of mud during rain. I think that is due to the campground getting very little sunshine. The canopy of trees is quite thick. If you want to be outside the canopy of trees, there is a newer section of the park, C-10 through C-16.
Be sure to go across the ferry to Washington Island, home of Schoolhouse Beach. It's one of the most unique beaches and has clear water.

We stayed here in 2018 for 3 nights. It was our very first RV trip, and I have nothing bad to say about this place. We were here the Tuesday after labor day through the following Friday.
The park managers were very kind, and when we arrived, the woman who checked us in said that she was going to give us a really good spot, and I wandered around the park and agreed that the spot we had was the best! There's a line of trees along the west side of the spot that added some privacy. nothing but trees at the backside. Relatively close to the entrance and the highway, but it wasn't super noisy.
They drop your ice and wood off at your site after you order it, which is a lovely convenience.
The bathrooms were nice and clean. I always forget my hairdryer and was thrilled to see that they had one in the bathroom.
I don't remember how the cell service was... but I know the wifi worked well.

Great campground with full hookups. Only stayed one night but would stay again. Bathrooms can be a bit of hike if you’re on the far end of the park. Good network coverage (we have AT&T) if you need it

Wooded is very nice but open w/o trees can be very hot. This is a popular place so calling ahead is recommended. Not all sites have full hookups. And some sites have cable.
Even though we only had one or two bars on our Sprint phones it was LTE that worked good. At site 16 the internet was strong.

Lovely little park with many tree-shaded sites. We were in space 24 but 15, 16, and 17 were prime spots IMO. Most of the big pull through sites were out in the open. Nice bonus, they pick up your trash and recycling every morning!
Some road noise was apparent from the road especially in the AM. Not terrible. The site was not super level but manageable. Hookups were all top notch.

We have heard so much about Door County, we thought we would go see it while passing through the area. It did not disappoint, beautiful area, lots of cherries, awesome parks! We found this park had one open spot for 5 nights, lucky as everything is booked this summer everywhere. Site was shaded, spacious and level. Some separation between sites but not much. It is located on the highway so we always heard traffic but not too bad when inside. We found the campground and the whole area to be quite expensive for us. They did have a cable box you can use as no satellite dishes will work. Host was pleasant enough at check in but don't put your trash in the wrong dumpster LOL. This county was probably nice before being discovered but wicked crowded area so we came, we saw, we won't be back as the crowds are not for us.

This is our first season as travel trailer campers and our first RV park experience. No complaints. Friendly staff, shady site, quiet, clean bathrooms, convenient dump station, and we enjoyed the garbage pickup and WiFi.

We have been to Door County many times and this is our favorite area to stay in. The section of the campground for short term RV stays is new. Big rig friendly and easy to navigate roads and layout. The sites are spacious and only require minor side to side leveling. The pull thru sites have 2 sewer hookups. Almost every site in this section will be Starlink and satellite friendly. Huge mowed field for dogs to stretch out.
We stayed at the end of the 2023 season and the cable TV was not yet completed for the pull thru sites. The Wi-Fi was not good enough to stream even though the campground was only 1/3 full. I anticipate both of these issues will be completed by the 2024 season. I say this because the staff is outstanding. The manager/ (owner?) Cameron was very helpful and accommodating. Note: Campground has 3 entrances. Follow arrival instructions and use the northernmost entrance marked with 2 US flags . I attached a photo. The other 2 entrances are for seasonal campers and are not as big rig friendly.
