Park has spacious sites, friendly staff and lots of amenities to keep everyone busy. It is very clean. We were here off season so not everything was open (the obstacle course) store closes at 5pm (should be 7pm) and 3pm on Sunday. The park is huge so if you are in the back, it is a hike to the pool and facilities. They need to put up dog cleaning stations throughout the rows to keep the park clean. I would give it 5 stars if it were gated. Overall, it is a park we would recommend and will return to.

We really enjoyed the pool, associated swim up bar, lazy river, and kids mini-water park area. Lots of activities throughout the day: prayer, pledge of allegiance, and national anthem over the loud speakers daily at noon; s’mores by the pool in the (early) evening for kids, rubber ducky race in the lazy River. All that said, people are doing a LOT of drinking at this pool on summer weekends. That leads to behavior you may not want your young kids to see. And loud noise when everyone returns to their trailers in the evening hours (as in I could hear yelling, fast driving golf carts, etc inside my trailer with the a/c going after “quiet hours” started at 10 pm. We’ll probably go back, even with our child, but will be sure to exit the pool area WELL before dinner time. Warning: no shade of any kind in the camping area. Clean paved spots, but only recently planted “baby” trees.

The family and I made the short trip from Houston to Lost Lagoon and we were not disappointed. We stayed the week leading up to fathers day in one of the executive sites (#150) and we pleased with the extra room you get with the larger sites. The park was very well kept and The pool was amazing and the prices for food and drinks were ok. Some items were priced well and some were overpriced, but it all kind of balanced out. This probably isn't the place for you if you are expecting a quiet relaxing weekend during the summer (peak) months. We did not experience and anything wild because we stayed during the weekdays but from returning guests stories, it can get a little wild on weekends. With all that said, we will be back!

The park is located off the beaten path and very quiet. The place is huge and has great rv sites with full hookup, really cute cabins, and two very large homes you can rent. A great place for kids with a kiddie splash pool and 3 other pools. The ginormous pool has a swim up bar, a rock wall with a rope to swing into the water, a couple of great slides. I really liked the wrist band idea so you didn’t have to carry card/cash with you. There was plenty of room to ride my bike and it was well lit at night. You will not be disappointed should you decide to spend some time there. If you don’t have your own child cart make sure you get a spot close to the pool or you will be walking a ways.
