Echo Junction EB Rest Area

August 19th, 2015: RVer reports & info provided by state of UT confirms that Overnight RV Parking is allowed. Utah DOT website states: Utah encourages drowsy drivers to stop and rest, particularly at our rest areas. While overnight camping is not permitted, shorter stays are usually allowed. This is at the discretion of the Highway Patrol. Use of levelers, slides, awnings, lawn furniture, BBQ's etc. will be interpreted as camping and may result in a ticket. Restrooms with flush toilets, Telephone, Trash Receptacles, Drinking Fountains. On-Site Maintenance Personnel/Attendant. Picnic tables, Grills, Pet Area, Vending Machines. 15 auto parking spaces & 5 truck/RV spaces. Well lighted, not level (though a few of the spaces toward the center are more level), appears safe, with significant I-80 traffic noise.
