Easy access. We are in the corner fronting the highway. Very private site. Cook, the host, seems like a good dude. Across the street from hot springs.

The owner was a hoot and was very nice to let us stay an additional night so we could check out Silverton and Ouray. We really did nothing in Durango while we were there but driving to Silverton and Ouray was some of our favorite places that we saw so we were fine with missing out on Durango! The sites were pretty basic but well-kept and level.
There is a train whistle every 30 minutes or so so be prepared for that!
We'd come back here for sure!

Cozy and comfortable spot RIGHT ACROSS from Trimble Hot Springs. You get coupons for the hot springs when you check in. Our slip was a back in on the far side from the office against the creek in the corner. Great spot! We had a lawn and picnic table. Host was funny and informative. Walking distance from groceries, restaurants, etc.

These guys are open when all the other spots are closed for the season - a big downer we discovered over Colorado spring break when we arrived in town without reservations. They had one spot left (site 11) so we grabbed it. Area is very pretty around the campground. Spots are wide, level but basic - full hookups no central bathroom or showers.
The host is super nice and enjoyable. We weren’t here very long but it was a fine stay just not sure I’d go back here if I had other options. The grocery store across the street had great selection of food, beer and wine which was a plus. Drive into downtown is about 12 mins.

The host is very friendly and appears to care about the place. It does have full hookup but there are showers at the hot springs across the street. The campground rate is reasonable since so many others are charging close to $50.00. They provide a $10.00 certificate to go over to the hot springs so overall the price is reasonable. The place is super quiet, and a good feeling about this small campground. Plus they do have laundry which is a plus

We stayed 4 nights while visiting the area. Bob, the camp host, was friendly and laid back. Our hot water heater broke while we were here. Although the campground doesn’t have a shower facility, the Trimble Hot Springs is directly across the street. We soaked in the spring and had hot showers in really clean locker rooms. The campground backs up to the highway, but the noise was not noticeable.

First, hosts (owners?) were awesome and accommodating. They were the best part though. Park is a lot of permanent residents and got a real bad vibe from them. Dogs pooping in our campsite, getting yelled at by others while walking our dogs to the dog park (we were the ones doing it right?!?). The park is also pretty rough. Zero ammeneites or conveniences. Didn't feel comfortable sitting outside so we stayed in the whole time. We checked out after one night and found somewhere else to stay. Recommend you avoid or only stay if you have to.

I’ve read mean reviews about this place and I don’t get it. No, they don’t have showers or bathrooms, no they don’t have tent camping. But, the park is extremely clean and well maintained. They have laundry on site, it’s across the street from Durango Hot Springs and the managers are unbelievably nice. We rented a motor coach and spent the week here. It’s located just north of downtown Durango and across the street is a hardware store and well stocked market with a bakery and deli. Full hookups and a dog run. It’s a small square shaped park with back ins and pull throughs. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. We would definitely stay again!!

Good location about 8 miles north of Durango. We were there over Labor Day. With the holiday it got a little tight in the lot - Many jeeps, porches, trailers and such. There are a couple of full-timers there, but overall the park is well kept. There are tons of apples from the trees and there is a hot spring running behind the park (runoff from Durango Hot Springs). Laundry facilities were solid and we had mail successfully delivered there. No restrooms or showers on the premise but water, 50-amp and sewer hookups all work. Lots of mature trees around the perimeter. Some of the sites are pull in and some back in.
Durango was killer! Lots of bars and restaurants, access to Silverton and Ouray and Purgatory for all things outdoors. Love love love Durango

We stopped for one night and enjoyed it. We had a nice camping spot at the end near the highway so there was some road noise and a train came by a few times. We sat outside for dinner so the noise definitely didn’t stop us from that. The camp hosts were very nice, talkative and informative. There were no bathrooms. The campground is clean and wifi was fast.
