Brand new park that’s very well done. All new sites and office building, plus laundry and bath/showers. Sites are gravel and new grass has been planted and started to grow. We were in site 7, a back-in spot at the end of a row that had plenty of room for our 37” 5th wheel plus truck. Has picnic tables at each site and a BBQ area with grills for guest use and a pet area. The views are beautiful, with mountains and grassy plains all around. Very quiet and peaceful. We were on the far end away from the road, so noise wasn't a problem.
Reception area is gorgeous with a nice sitting area and all kinds of historic farming tools as decoration. The hosts were very friendly and willing to chat about the area and suggest places to go. Durango is a great town and maybe 20 minutes away. The downtown area has all kinds of shops and restaurants, and there are all the usual chain stores along highway 550 as well. And if you’re into the outdoors, there are many options such as hiking, scenic drives and skiing.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely return!

Amazing place run by and amazing family. I’m glad I’m was able to stay and unwind at Durango Ranch RV Ranch! What an amazing view. Sites are well spaced and in great shape, level and provide a great view no matter where you are. Far enough back from the road that all I heard was wind.
I can’t wait to spend more time here again!

This is a really great, brand-new and family owned RV park. Lots are spacious and big-rig friendly. Tanner, one of the owners, is super nice and told us about the family history that is displayed with beautiful antiques in the cool, modern and well-appointed lobby/office.

The young couple that own this park define warm hospitality. It’s part of their Durango Ranch. They built the park based on what they most enjoyed in RV parks when they traveled. They were on hand to greet us when we arrived and point out area attractions. The park opened in April 2022 to well-deserved fabulous reviews. It’s a calm, peaceful park that is dog friendly. It is not the sort of RV destination resort devoted to campers seeking many activities for kids. The sites, facilities and services are top notch. The Starlink WiFi is wonderful. We easily streamed Netflix, Prime and HBOmax. Over air TV reception is also very good. Everything about this park is new and superbly maintained. This isn’t a rustic carefully squeeze in between the trees RV park. Rather it’s open and fenced in on a broad plain surrounded by low lying mountains. Its level gravel sites have generous space between them — all with new complete hookups (water, electric 30/50, and sewer). Half the sites are generous size pull-thru. There is room for tow cars. The laundry is excellent. The showers are something you might find at a 5-star resort. There is a fenced in grass dog park. Getting into and out of your site is easy. It’s close to many extraordinary scenic roads, sites and historic Durango. A terrific base camp for site-seeing and nearby outdoor activities. We are delighted we stayed here and will again when we are next in Durango.

Very nice new private small campground in a location midway between Durango and Aztec, NM. The atmosphere and staff were very inviting. The bathrooms were beautiful, there was a nice hot tub and lounge area, and a covered grilling area with a little dry bar. Good wifi. We only stayed one night because of impending snow, but would stay again when we make it back to that area.

This park was our last stop (10 nights) on a 3-week adventure through central & southern Colorado and it did not disappoint. Even before we arrived, the owners were extremely helpful over the phone accommodating our travel plans and needs; upon arrival things only got better. I feel like I made lifelong friends with such super nice people whose family have multi-generational roots in Durango. They offered a ton of great advice and recommendations ranging from restaurants and organic grocery stores to river rafting and day spa’s (pleasing the glamping part of my camper crew). The park’s facilities are simple but top notch, southwestern themed, and the office, showers and laundry are well designed and kept super clean. The park is very convenient to Durango, quiet and the graveled sites are well spaced so you’re not on top of your neighbors. Location is also a short distance to Mesa Verde NP, Silverton and Ouray, and not far from Pagosa Springs area or Aztec NM. We would definitely come back on our next trip to this part of Colorado.

Passing through on a road trip from Southern California and decided to find a place to stay before heading back home through New Mexico. After looking at places closer to downtown Durango, we found this place. From the start, the hosts were really nice, offering to stay a little late and wait for us to get across town. The park is simple, gravel areas very level and a nice dog park. One of my dogs get stressed from the ride, so she loved being able to run free and get all then energy out. The restrooms and shows are immaculately kept. Inside welcome area has fresh coffee, snacks and brochures of local attractions. Tanner, one of the owners, was very helpful with ideas for us to checkout. We liked the place and hosts so much, instead of hitting the road, we stayed another night. Would definitely recommend this place and will come again.

I booked last minute after hours and the owner met me to make sure our slip was ready for arrival. Very friendly owner and great, simple setup! Front office (nicely decorated) has free coffee and popcorn and the bathroom, jacuzzi and grill area are spotless!

The pictures shown above are an accurate presentation of the Resort. There is a lot of green space between sites and the owners have installed a sprinkler system to keep grass green. The internet provided has worked out well.
