Cedar Lodge Motel

I’m not usually picky about where we stay but given that we are dealing with covid conditions I feel differently about my family’s need to stay in a clean place. We are a family of 6 so we needed room for all of us which there was. 2 queen beds and a pullout trundle that’s supposed to be a couch as well. The room itself was old and outdated. It was clean to the eye but didn’t feel as if it had been vacuumed or cleaned as it should’ve been. I didn’t have my kids take showers because I didn’t trust that the shower had even been washed down at all. The back patio was a nice feature however the grill was dirty (still had cheese on it) and the ashtray had left over joints in it. To top it off in front of the room there were two bags of dog poop and an ice tea that someone had left there. The trash around the facility was overflowing as well. My husband and I took a walk down the street and needless to say it’s not an area we will ever revisit again.
