Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on June 28, 2023First of all, I must say, that when I do a review I realize they aren't all five stars. This place is clean except in an area that I guess they don't use often by their little lake as it's overgrown. Our spot was a little out of level but didn't take too much maneuvering. It's definitely an older park and it shows it's wear. Huge trees everywhere and very much like a park. Spots are gravel with an older picnic table and fire pit. They had a pool but it was void of water. Bathrooms are older but clean. The funny thing is that the water spigot is on the door side if our trailer so thankful we had a long hose. We ended up with only 30 amp as the few 50 amps were taken. The only reason we picked this place because it's somewhat close proximity to the Ark Encounter.

Lovely good Sam park, lots of shade trees, clean bathrooms, clean park.
Had a pond with peddle boat, swimming pool (no water:( ), play area for the kids, cute cabins.
A nice quite park.
We only stayed one night so this didn't bother me, but your not allowed camp rugs/mats on the grass?
Sites are close together, luckily they were not full up.

Under new management and the new website is
https://www.northernkyrv.com
Most sites are heavily shaded, some light shading, I don’t think any are in the sun.
Full hookups with all connections very close to the parking area. Full drive throughs. 10% off for Good Sam memberships.
Free firewood, although the wood wasn’t that great. Speedys gas station had some that was much better.
Pool was closed. Bath house was very clean. Men’s restroom had 3 showers.
Sites where pretty close together, but I didn’t mind.
Lots of interstate traffic noise. Had my AC on the entire time so I really didn’t hear it. Occasionally a train would go by across the street.
Dollar General, dollar tree, and local stores are within minutes.
15 minute drive to the Ark Encounter, 30 minute drive to the Creation Museum. There is a YMCA about 30 minutes away that will give you pool access if you are a memeber of another YMCA.
Free WiFi access, if you have a site that’s close to the main office. Office staff was nice.

under new management and they r working on it. nice folks and family owned that has other rv parks. its now called Northern Kentucky RV park so, watch for incorrect signs. the only reason i work not give this park a total 5 star package is the noise. I75 is in sigth but not a problem, but there is a two rail busy train track within rock throwing distance, so on the hour every hour the train horns are blowing night and day. well, thats it and looking foward to the future of this park, j

Overall there is nothing wrong with the park as far as needing somewhere to stay. You can tell that it is under new management because things are dug up and always being moved around. As far as camp sites you’re really out of luck because they have squeezed so many more lots into the spaces already. Good luck if you have maybe 4 foot between your door and the window of your next door neighbor. Definitely camp sites in areas that should be left alone. Seems like they are trying to get the most money they can.

stayed one night. Nice park on a busy road. Wifi is killer! 25 down/15up.... amazing. Bath house secured due to COVID. Not disclosed and no break on rate so... 3 stars is it. Otherwise its z good opark and I'd stay again... if the bath house was open

Was impressed with how organized they were. We arrived late, after dark and office was closed, but they had packets outside the office with all the info we needed to pick a spot and pay (except for the code to get into the bath house). Not a lot of room at the camp sights as they were packed in tightly. But all through the night the train whistle was so loud (right across the street) and the traffic noise from the highway was enough we didn’t get great sleep. Very nice kids playground, ability to fill up propane and laundry facilities. Just can’t sleep through the noise.

Great little park . Owner are great. Like other has said it can be a little noisy due to being so close to the train track and i75 . But that just something that you deal with being close to a major city. Close by to the ark and creation museum. It is very peaceful given the traffics and train noise. Nice little pond to Kayak in . Nice shower house. Site 2 is a pull threw site we had plenty of room for our 30 ft camper . There was no fire pit at this site . There was a picnic table . And was full hook ups . The 40.50 cost per night is with a good Sams membership. When we stayed there were several large 5th wheel . They sell propane on site also. The width of the site could be a little more . The road noise and the with of the site is the only reason it wasn’t given a 5 star. They have great WiFi here also

Within 100 yards of I-75, and train tracks running right next to it... the road/train noise is deafening. Which is a shame, because the only other negative is that the sites are too close together.
Laundry is great, fantastic playground for the kids, great campground store, and as other have said, owners/staff are very friendly and helpful, and very organized... but hoooboy... the road noise is simply intolerable, even for a well-insulated unit.

We enjoyed our stay here while attending a conference at the Ark Encounter. We had a pull through spot with full hook ups, and close to the showers. Very peaceful except for the train - what a loud horn! Great Wi-Fi speed in the early morning, but much slower at night. Would stay here again.
