Description
May 25th, 2023: May 25, 2023: No Comment -- August 23, 2022: RV reports Yes. I think that 20 RV sites is an exaggeration. More like 10. Also, I am uncertain about drinking water. There is one spigot, very, very close to the dump site. I wouldn't trust it. Even if the water is good, people have been connecting hoses that are dedicated for black water work. But it is a very nice spot with free washrooms and showers. -- RVer reports that Overnight RV Parking and Camping are allowed, confirming 23 earlier reports from June 2006 thru June 2021. Approx 20 sites, mostly parallel to split rail fence. Dump Station, Drinking Water, Grills, Picnic Area, Restrooms, Showers. Adjacent to river, with paved river walking path. Very quiet & peaceful. Park may be full around time of state fair in August, as fairgrounds are across the street. Easy walk to downtown, on sidewalks. One RVer notes that sprinklers may come on in middle of night; as of Aug 16, they operate on M, W, F & Su nights. Another RVer noted loud cars on an adjacent street, ending by 9 PM. Open all year; water may be turned off in winter; may not be cleared of snow. No reservations, first come, first served. Maximum stay stay: 2 nights. 2021 rate: Free.
