The road in is narrow and the camping loop would be tight for the big boys. A couple of the sites are right on the creek, we opted for one of the pull-through sites as we didn't want to un-hitch for one night. The park caretakers live on site and do a great job. The cleanest and best decorated pit toilets I've ever seen. Camping area is on one side of the creek and the day-use area on the opposite side. There is a playground, picnic tables, fire pits and creek is swimmable and fishable. There is a short walk/scramble up a hill to put you on top of the rock bridge. This gives you a great view of the red canyon wall and is a beautiful spot for sunset. Cute bunnies all over the place enjoying the lush green grass. Pets are not allowed, although we did see fellow campers who were allowing their pet/show rabbits to graze. So much for rules.

We camped here in early July, the weather was cool and the park was perfectly maintained. There are no fees to camp here and pets are not allowed. Each campsite has a table and fire ring, there are vault toilets, water, and trash recepticles on the grounds. The natural bridge is next to the camping area with a river running under the natural bridge. This is a perfect spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

This park is beautiful and so well maintained. We stayed one night in mid May in. 21 ft class B and we were the only overnight guests. The hosts were so welcoming and we could pick our own spot. First come first serve, gates close at 8 pm so we felt securely tucked in. Great sunset lights up the red rock wall surrounding the park. Our rv site was right next to the natural bridge and a babbling brook. Very quiet and peaceful. Could have stayed longer

Wow this a real gem of a find. No hook ups but its so far north, the night temps were comfy. Just a few sites in a county park that has a beautiful natural arch with a river running under it. You are basically in a gorge surrounded by red rock canyon walls. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the manager was super nice and accommodating. Not a lot to do in the area, but this location was perfect for one night.

Despite being complimentary (free), one must still register with the caretaker in the office across the road (on the side of the house). Even though we are 40+ feet long when hooked up, the caretaker didn't make us unhook for our overnight stay since were were in the back corner and out of the way. Other slots in the cul-de-sac will require unhooking if you're too long.
Donations are accepted inside of the little building to the right of the campground entrance.
It's a bit of a drive off the interstate, but worth it as a destination.

What a little hidden gem! Easy off the highway. I stayed for one night but would've stayed for more. The caretakers are wonderful people and are so sweet. One loop and pull through for sites. No hookups. Loved the creek noise (but could be bothersome to light sleepers) and the natural bridge, with a small trail to stand on top of the bridge. Would stay again. Of note, the gate is automatic so it closes at 8pm and reopens at 8am.

We tried to camp here but the sign at the main highway indicated that the campground was closed. We drove along the heavily rutted road, also being repaired, five miles to the Ayres Natural Bridge. The campground was closed for repairs, but the caretaker was present pruning the shrubs. We could tell that the site is lovingly maintained with a bit of quirky fun. There are at least two vault toilet sites, plus a gigantic smoker under a pavilion, and a metal playground. Each site has a grill, picnic table and large grassy area. The park is beautiful and peaceful. It will be a prime camping spot when it is is reopened.

We didn't actually camp here, but visited the Natural Bridge today. I just wanted to let others know the campground has reopened. And take the 30' length limit seriously. There just isn't room for big rigs in this campground.

I can't believe anyone would give this campground less than 5 stars for everything. This was by far the best CG in our 30 day trek across the western states. I know the weather, your mood swings (who said that?), and lots of other things can affect how you view a campground - but this is a little bit of heaven. It is gorgeous - especially if you're lucky enough to get one right on the water, like we did. I can't say more. I did not post any pictures, as others have captured it very well.

An absolutely stunning and unique place to stay! The campground is extremely clean and well taken care of. My site was right by the stream and natural bridge - sitting by the stream at dusk was truly spectacular as the colors changed by the minute with the arch and cliffs in the background. Highly recommend.
