“Serving the finest seafood since 1974”
The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House has been a local favorite since 1974 serving the finest smoked tuna dip, ice-cold oysters and our famous char-grilled Amberjack. A favorite with the Fort Walton Beach - Destin locals since 1974, The Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House got started in a small, A-frame building on the beach. We instantly made a name for ourselves by serving delicious gulf seafood with the best view in Destin. A few years later we invented the Amberjack Sandwich, and the rest is, well, history. Over the years, a few things have changed; the gift shop is now where the kitchen was, and most of our neighbors are now 12-stories tall! But inside The Back Porch, things are pretty much the same as they've always been. We're still the best place in Destin for families and friends to get together and enjoy fresh gulf seafood, and we've still got the best view in town.
