“always up to something”
The mission of Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is to educate and inspire people of all ages about aviation and space endeavors of the past, present and future. Housed in our historic 150,000 sq. ft., 1930s-era, former Air Force hangar, Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum maintains a collection of over four dozen aircraft and space vehicles. Highlights of the collection include a rare B-18A Bolo, five of the Century-Series fighters, an RF-84K Thunderflash Parasite, an Alexander Eaglerock built in Colorado and a Star Wars X-Wing fighter
Good fun for the whole family, lots of planes and jets to look at and learn about, including a ginormous B52 and B1 bomber. Well worth the entry fee to get that close to some of these aviation marvels.
A great collection of jet combat aircraft mainly from the Vietnam era through to the 1980's, but the pre-WWII B-18 Bolo is the jewel of the collection. If you have an interest in military aviation, this museum is a must if you are visiting Denver.
Great place to go for a great price! My husband and I spent three hours here!
