Nice campground with pea gravel. Spacious level sites with picnic tables. Many attractions within day-trip distance.

Easy in & out. Large pull though sites with very few obstructions to navigate in & out of campground

We stayed here for one night and sure wish we could have stayed longer. Very southwestern! All gravel but perfectly graded. It’s obvious that they put maintenance and landscaping at the top of their list. There are just a few semi-permanent trailers there but they are very well maintained. It looks like the Dukes of Hazard were there at the entrance. Just pull up to the bottle tree and go on in. You will enjoy your stay! We will be back next year but will allow for a few more nights.

This is a great place to stay for a night as we did or longer term. Very Clean, Very friendly and easy access. We had time to check out the town which was nice. A little Hiway noise but not enough to take away a star. There were just a few overnighters there at the time so the Wifi was excellent.

We stayed for a week to take in Gila National Forest, Silver City, Catwalk Recreation Area, a couple of ghost towns, some of the local Christmas events, and City of Rocks. Gravel sites are relatively level, our water pressure was a bit low but still good, and the campground and dog park are clean. Starlink did drop several times, but came back quickly.
The single down-side is the noise from trains, which was problematic for us at night (many trains each night). After a few nights we got use to them (sort of) but they’re very loud. Sounds like they’re coming straight through the campground.
Our visit was in December, and while it was cold in Deming, it was still warmer than it was closer to Gila National Forest, so it made a good base for our purposes.
