The Bernard Historical Museum is located at 7135 West Delton Road, approximately 1 mile West of Delton, Michigan, overlooking scenic Crooked Lake. On the grounds are seven buildings housing a collection of over 25,000 artifacts. The main building of the Bernard Historical Museum was originally built in the early 1930's. It was operated by Dr. Prosper G. Bernard as a hospital and converted by him after his retirement into the present museum and opened to the public in May, 1963.
